in layman's terms:

wet nitrous: mixed with fuel before the throttle body

dry nitrous: only nitrous injected

I know that used to, when people had a warranty and would try to hide nitrous, they'd run a dry shot because wet nitrous leaves a "residue" behind that could be detected

also, you get more whp out of a wet shot, if you are running a 150 wet shot, that will just about be your whp output, where as you won't net 150whp off a 150 dry shot

..Dry shots are typically net more whp vs the same shot on a wet setup.

^ dry shots are a bitch to tune and usually DON'T...

a kick ass tuner probably could, but considering most people don't trust a dry setup or worry about fine tuning one, you're going to just about always see better results from a wet setup

a wet shot is easier to run, safer, etc.... and tuned properly, whatever size jet you run is pretty much what you are going to see on the dyno

I didn't even consider a dry shot(no I don't spray the Cobalt, lol), and put down 470whp with bolt-ons and a 150 shot on a LS1 trans am(with an automatic and a stall, which will generally dyno lower than a 6-speed car)

dry shots produce more hp then wet shots, its very small difference though (maybe 3-4 on a 75 shot)
