What are you guys talking about?

I am running a wet 75 shot on a tuned LSJ. Retarding timing and making sure there's no knock..

Just because I have questions doesn't mean I'm "doing it the cheap way"

I've invested lots of money into this and I have several safety precautions and features included.

You guys probably have the least bit idea what my setup exactly is.

you were bitching about spending 11 bux on a new nitrous jet.. whether you admit it or not you're being a cheap ass lol

not to mention you should never be tuning for nitrous without a wideband

hell even tuning for the 2.9 pulley on 42s it's on shouldn't be done without a wideband.. and you're saying you didn't want to spend the money to buy 60's. again ... doing it the cheap way

questions aren't a problem it's how we all learn.. bitching about things you NEED to do to save your motor and don't spend hundreds of dollars if not thousands to rebuild it because you didn't do it right the first time.. THAT is the problem... you're the one that chose this route.. don't complain because it costs money to be right. IN MY opinion.. Do it right or don't do it at all

I believe I am cheap, quick (can't say fast b/c everyone has a different version of the word fast in there mind), and reliable.

tuning helps a whole lot and even doing it sort of ghetto and tuning right you can get away with it. **** i have less than $2,000 in my whole car including the gauges and everything inside and out other than tires and have well over 300whp on the spray and drive it every day. it's all in the tune. it depends if you buy parts new or used. also how long you take and spend the time to think about your build and wait till you can get the best possible price on something.

Power mods:
1. 60lb injectors $200
2. 2.80 pulley $50
3. filter on stock modded stock airbox $20
4. big cx h/e (from ebay) $150
5. nos sniper wet kit $285 (you can now buy the whole kit for $279.99 Shipped on Ebay!)
6. 1step colder plugs $6
7. italian joe's clear image automotive's Header and 3" catless dp switched to a 3" catted dp $300

Gauges:
1. dynotune's nitrous pressure gauge $25
2. aem wideband uego $200

Clutch:
1. Phoenix stage3 6 puck clutch $393.14 (came with throw out bearing)

Total Money Spent= Less than $2,000

Even adding the bottle warmer ($100 Dollars from dynotune.com) along with the misc. + rounding up those numbers in parts I am still under $2k in all parts.

Other Modifications:
None! Everything else on this car is stock. Stock cat-back, stock motor mounts, stock everything. Nothing else has been upgraded or done.

How did I pay so little for these parts?:
Some of the prices may vary and remember in this economy you can call up sites and make them drop there prices! These are the prices I paid for all these modifications. Also, I will be installing all of them myself.

Get bigger injectors.
Get a bigger fuel jet.

How is that even possible?

I love people who put nitrous on there car yet have NO CLUE how it works.

You are running a wet kit. That means it ADDS FUEL FOR YOU. Guess what that means??? If your injectors are running @ around 74 % duty cycle then when you add a 75 wet shot guess what??? They will still be running at around 74 % duty cycle.

The only thing you might want to be worried about is your fuel pump.

Your getting knock retard because you probably have some shitty plugs in there that are not gapped correctly, You are probably also running too small of a pulley for your supporting mods resulting in boost stack.

Its funny, none of the SS/SC guys realize how shitty there car is running until they throw it on the dyno and they have full exhaust and a 2.8 and they make like 235-240WHP with 10* of knock retard.

ugh... my car with stg2 map on 60lb injectors with afr 10.4 with 19degree's of timing hitting knock on low bottle temp made 309whp/321torque on a mustang dyno. btw- i was on stock exhaust with a header + 3" dp with regular cat....

ps. we all have to start somewhere. he is just trying to learn. give him a break.

more like 249whp when i was un-tuned! those numbers i posted above were un-tuned results with out a tune. just switched the tune for 60's. i put down 340+whp on pump gas on the spray now...

you can go have fun guess how much i make off the spray.

remember mustang dyno numbers. that's the lowest reading dyno i could find in my area. i've been to 2 other dyno's and woah i put down supper high numbers on a dyno jet. an easy 30whp more.

On a mustang dyno as well. Most Cobalts I see that are put on mustang dynos actually dyno the opposite of how they should dyno on a true mustang dyno.

The numbers for a Cobalt on a Mustang for some reason are always higher then a Dynojet.

SO 249 WHP on a Mustang is like 230 on a Dynojet.

LOL at that statement. around my area you dyno an easy 20-30whp more on any dyno jet. . . .

i can post up my numbers on a 45shot on the dynojet that i put out 360whp+ now. it also depends on bottle temp

Stock TC on a Mustang dyno, dyno's 250WHP and 277 TQ.

So inflated.
