knocking on n20....
Meh, a 150 shot is where the fun starts.
You should see the LS1 forums. Guys come in and ask "Will I have any problems with a 100 shot?", first reply is "yeah, you won't feel it"
Big shots make it interesting.

i am going to try a 100shot with very low timing like 12-14 degree's and if i get away with that + like low 11's afr i'll just up it to a 125shot. i think that's one big hit on the engine but for a couple times i wonder how the car will hold to it?
lol. Drew I'm gonna try out a bigger fuel jet most likely.
Reason why is that I run fine without nitrous.. So there's no reason why I shouldn't run right with nitrous (with the right amount of fuel).. So 99% sure all I need is more fuel.. And even with 60s I'll almost be what's considered to be "maxed out" at 80%... So I wouldn't be able to compensate for needed fuel with just 60s anyway..
Jason can monitor my AFR on HPT.. So idk why Ethan is calling me retarded for that haha.
We'll see what happens.. I'll most likely try a larger fuel jet soon. Maybe a 26 or 28.

people run 15 16 on a 50 shot, or if its 75 then they live were they get 93 oct fuel
to run a 75 shot on 91 your gonna have to run either really low timing, like 10-12 or add some race gas to the tank and run 15-17 or just put a big ass fuel jet and run the afr in the 10's that will let you run 14 15 degrees with 75 shot... when running nos your not gonna be targeting a afr of 11.8 you will make more trq and it will run more timing if you target a afr of 10.8 on nos... hope this helps

with 60's, 2.8, cx h/e, header/3dp w/cat, airbox mod, 1step colder plugs.
unless maybe it's just my car is lucky? idk lol

I'm running 91 octane.. With a 75. Running 15 degrees with no knock right now. My jets are 40 / 28 but I'm running pretty rich so I'm going to up the n20 jet to a 42 to balance it out better.
Not positive yet if I should down the fuel jet or up the nitrous one..
As long as my car has no problem taking the power I'd rather go with the 42 nitrous jet...
Any thoughts?
why do you have it in your head that your fine tuning for n02 off of a narrow band..he's guessing your a/f off of the narrow band..everyone in this thread has told you to get a wideband..that makes you a retard
I was listening. And I take all serious advice to my advantage. That's why I will consider buying one or at least borrowing one to tune. I don't know who sells them for cheap nor do I know how much they cost. I'd need a 2 guage pillar too.
sorry but i WB should have been purchased before the nos...
The most important thing to monitor next to knock is AFR...
its just a well worth it investment, it will also follow you from car to car if you choose. so the 200.00 goes a long way in this case.
you keep saying your running rich, but you dont even know? and who ever is tuning you should know better than to be even touching your car without a WB unless he is simply loading a stage tune....
also has he touched your cot settings? or your adders? it probably still has some timing adders that are ******* with you since when you spray the iat adder senses cold ass air and adds timing although you really need it to pull timing...
i just think you should slow down a little on the NOS and speed up a little on the research, it will keep you from a 2000.00 rebuild if you ask me... not to mention melted cat, cracked sleeve, lift the head...
FI+NOS=extreme cyl pressures, you throw in a lean cond and a few degrees of knock here and ther and next thing you know you have traded in your coby for a suby...lol
just be careful man, dont be so anxious to up the shot. Honestly on a N/A engine last time i talked to NOS a 36/22 was a fifty shot a 46/28 was a hundred.
When you inject NOS on a F/I engine it actually provides more HP/TRQ than advertised. Again hope this helped some.
no one is hating on you running NOS its just you have to do it right or it is like holding a ticking time bomb, eventually its gonna blow

Thing is.. People like you actually say things in a way to help another person. And the fact that I've never used nitrous before makes it important to take serious advice seriously.
The thing that I hate is when I'm in here asking for advice and someone just comes in here and straight up calls me a retard for not doing something right and blah blah blah. lol I could care less about the insults but if you intend for me to take you seriously and you just come in here calling me retarded that is some straight BS if you ask me
You're yet another person who I can say has given me some good advice without being a dick. Gotta love it. Thanks dawg
