Looking at a n20 kit have some ?s

Im looking into buying a wet nitrous kit from a guy off of a local car forum. The kit comes with all of the lines a bottle warmer and remote bottle opener. So I know that I need to at least buy a bottle and the mounting brackets for the bottle. After doing some reading I think I am going to go with a widow switch to. Are there any other suggestions for other accesories for the kit?

Thanks, Jared

just a window switch and a arming switch so you dont hit nitrous @3000 rpm at 25% throttle.does it come with a nozzle and jets?

Window switch makes it really simple. Holley offers a nice combination window switch/TPS trigger for drive-by-wire applications. Set one up in dad's truck, makes for a neat fully automated setup.

Part #: 15972nos

Awesome thanks for the help! This is a nos system though I would imagine all of the nitrous system parts are interchangable. is this true?

Yeah, they are all the same thing really. Most of the Holley/NOS brand components are just a little higher quality, so I recommend them if you have a choice. I use them in all of the kits I've setup for people and have never had a problem. I've only ever had used solenoids go bad on me, anything i've bought new was perfect and still is.

NX also makes pretty good stuff. I'm not a big fan of Zex, but they are very popular. I just don't like the all-in-one solenoid box setup they use. Very expensive to replace if something goes wrong with it.

Honestly, whatever kit you use will be fine, as long as it is complete, installed right, and using the correct safety measures.

I ran my setup with just a toggle for on-off and a pushbutton to fire it, for a long time, with no issues. It comes down to how sure you are that you can control it properly while driving hard.

Gotcha thanks man! Is there anyway I can pm you a link to the kit and yo give me some feedback on whether its a good deal or not? You seem to be the nitrous guru on this site so I would really appreciate it.

Just post it here, i'll take a look.

Honestly, as long as you start with all the basic pieces, you can add whatever you want to make the kit better or safer or more complicated, however you want to call it. I prefer simple in my own cars, but like i said, I setup a fully automated system for dad's truck using the switch I posted the # for, and it's great. Open bottle, flip the switch, and go. Only comes on at the rpm I set it for, shuts off before the trans shifts, only fires at WOT voltage. I love it.

I've helped a ton of people setup nitrous kits, and honestly once they get into it, it's not that bad. The initial amount of choices is pretty overwhelming, but once you get it setup and working you'll be much more comfortable with making changes later on.
