yeah pretty much, i would go dry on a completely stock system. less likely to puddle. and easier to hook up.

that's very bad advice.

us nitrous powered balts are running tops a 75 shot wet kit. go dry and you'll go boom.

I have run both wet and dry systems on many cars over the years. Basic rule of thumb is that under 100hp you can use a dry system if your injectors and fuel trims in the cal can compensate for it. On a stock 2.2L, I would be very leary of a dry system of any size. Now, if you get HP Tuners and bump up one size on the injectors, you can probably make a dry system work fine. But if you are not committed to the cost of HP Tuners, a set of injectors and a wideband O2 with fuel/air ratio gauge, go wet. Be safe. Remember, the only thing that NOS does is add a higher concentration of oxygen to the air charge for a given volume. You must compensate by assuring that there is adequate fuel available to keep the combustion stoic.

wet shot is the way to go man.. 75 shot is what im runnin now and its a good boost for the 2.2. as of right now i only have a cai on my car but full exhaust is bout to be put on. im waitin for the catback to come in now so i can install the header and d/p i already have. thats pretty much a full bolt on motor wit a 75shot. you should be fine runnin a 75shot with out anythin done but better breathin is always better with or with out n2o.

You'll be fine, from what i've gathered is you've got to spray at the right rpms to be safe (3,000-5,000?), you've got to use high octane few as well.. Our pistons, rods, etc are good till 250hp irrc.

Someone can chime in and correct me, i've only started reading about wet kis for our cars for a few weeks.

I've got a question to those running a kit in their auto's, do you find it tough, or sketchy spraying, since you're not in control when the transmission shifts.
