Nitrous Purge

Hey guys just wondering if its possible to run a nitrous purge only. Just for show, without actually running nitrous in my car. If so, what do I need and how much would it run me?

I had a feeling it would be nothing but negative responses but I'm not doing it so people "THINK" i have Nitrous. Its strictly show. Car shows, and also because I have a 5lb tank thats not being used and I really dont want to run Nitrous in my car because I've never used it before, dont know HOW to use it and dont really need the hassle and maintenance.

Bottle
Bottle Nut
Blow Down Tube
4AN Feed Line
Solenoid
Push Button Switch
15-25 Feet of 16 Gauge Wire
Flexible Line
Miscellaneous electrical connectors

You can get a whole kit, minus the bottle, for under $100 from DynoTuneNitrous.com

Yeah what he said, 69.00 bucks http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idcategory=17

Don't know what N20 costs where you live but if your just doing for show CO2 costs half as much
and makes more "steamy discharge"

Unless you're drawn towards the name and long time reputation of the Holley NOS brand,
you can get the same thing BRAND NEW from DynoTune for the same price. Please don't
think I'm a DynoTune spy or something. They just sell good parts that I've used and/or
helped people install on their own cars. Provided you already have a way to securely mount
your bottle and it has a bottle nut on it, you still need a feed line; unless you're planning
on mounting the bottle under the dashboard. Also, if you like breathing in an emergency,
a blow down tube is still a great investment.

Whether you go with one of the options posted in this thread or not, just make sure you get
everything together in a kit for the best deal. For your purposes it doesn't matter what brand;
NOS, NX, ZEX, TNT, HSW, DTN, DEI, Edelbrock, etc, etc. And there are still a shitload more
companies that sell the stuff. Like I said before, as long as your bottle has a mount, nut. blow
down tube and brackets to hold in place, all you need are:

4AN Feed Line
Solenoid
Purge Line (Brake Line, etc)
Push button switch
Wire
Misc. Electrical connectors
Misc. Fittings

Sorry for all typing. Just make sure any advertised "complete kit" really has everything you
need with it...

and something to mount the solenoid to.

Whatever it costs, just be glad it's so cheap. Nitrous here is $11 a pound; and no, I'm not kidding.
