plain and simple... 50 shot plus stage 2?

plain and simple.. will it work, and be safe?

co-worker of mine has a stage 2 balt and zex plugs.. thats all he has..

I told him i would find out from the car club if it will work.

will it be okay on the zex plugs and the gm stage 2 tune for a few passes down the strip, nothing to worry about?

and i guess i should ask, what would be safer for that exact setup... dry or wet?

(no flaming, i just need an answer) thanks

i wouldnt use zex plugs. but otherwise yes hell be ok. i had nitrous on the car for a while, and was spraying a 50 shot on 2.7 inch pully. no problems. took it off when i put the meth on though. figured it would be overkill

Shouldn't be a problem, but i'd check with ZEX to make sure they say they are ok. I use NGK plugs and run the same thing you are asking about, a wet 50 shot on Stg 2 with a 2.8, and it runs real strong for such a simple mod.

wet shot is generally safer becuase it uses less fuel, but he is on a stg2 pulley so a dry shot would be ok. Generally when you go with juice you retune the car for a little less timing, so he might want to find someone with hpt

If he is only going to be running it for a few passes at the track and has everything tuned he should be fine.
