Well Im still workin on gettin my balt. I ran into SuperCobaltSS for just a sec last friday. He thought I was a cop comin up on him, hahah

 

I coulda swore I saw Vtecduster last friday. He was coming off of 694 to Brooklyn blvd and I was already on B Blvd going in the direction of maple grove. I'm pretty sure it was him, but he didn't follow.

 

Have any of you MN folk had GM stage 2 put in?
If so,
At which dealer?
How long did it take?
How much for install?
Did they do it right the first time?
How's the stage 2 holding up so far?

 

Well I think everyone still dead and it sounds like none of ya have stage 2 kit yet.

 

I installed mine and had the reflash done at Suburban Chev. The install, well I'll tell you on the phone if you want details. From what I understand, there isn't one Chevy dealer equiped to or that has done a install in MN.

I did get a quote for the install however. I think it was about 350, total. Since I installed it, I just paid for the reflash, 80 some bucks. There is a problem with my reflash, it's not the dealers fault (I think). Its messed up, sometimes when wot up to 7k rpms, the engines sort of hesitates @ 6.5k and then goes up to 7k, i've posted in another thread about it, search on it if u want. Aside from this problem, which happens rarely, but enought to **** me off, there is nothing wrong. Its great actually, wouldn't go back. If you're bothering to get a stage 2, I hope you're also looking at exhaust/headers. Makes a big difference.

Well the meet was a FLOP...but I did see a yellow Cobalt SS SC drivin around the park area.

 

Hey people, how is it going I am new to the site. I live in Apple valley mn, I currently have a cobalt ss non s/c but it is pretty quick I also have a few moods and more on the way.

Our meets have been flops, only like 3-5 people show out of the 8-12 that say they will. It looks like it's going to be nice tomorrow. I'd be willing to do one last meet before our winter comes (YES I SAID WINTER!!!) Same time Same place. 5pm 610/Noble Park and Ride. If you want to, show up. I may be there depending on what's going on, but hopefully I can avoid my cousins (12 and 10 yrs of age, yuk!!!)

Plus how many people say they are coming will be a determining factor. I know PB you can't show, since you are outta town!

hey PB, do you know if we're still doing that tri-quin state meet next may, or is that kinda off. I know it's still a ways away.

 

I'd still like to do it but I haven’t set anything up with the Wis or ILL guys yet. I mentioned something to them and they said that would be cool. We just gotta get things together on where and when to do it.

We should probably get this figured out sometime soon so that people can mark it on a calendar.

 

where/when are you guys having it? good weekend for it is May 18-20 in the Wisconsin Dells. Its the weekend of the BIG Automotion Classic Car Show. Town Gets Taken over by Car Nuts for the weekend. My J-Body Club had a full weekend event there this last year. Turnout wasn't the best (almost 20 different J's throughout the weekend, 12 at the same place, same time tops) but it was a fricken blast and we are making it an annual meet. if that sounds good and you guys need any help planning events for the whole weekend, let me know. i'd be more then willing to help you guys out considering I did all the planning for the J-Body one last year and will begin planning the 2007 one pretty soon.

 

I would come but I really don't know where that is sorry.

Even tho i'm fairly new and don't post too much - I'm still here... and also going to be doing some upgrading to the ol SS/SC next week...

 

I was driving down 94 west just after the 94/694 junction and came up on another ss/sc in red, just wondering if you are a member on here. Noticed he has some AEM stickers in his window. We did some neck in neck 3rd gear pulls to about 100 before I had to get off on Crooklyn Blvd.

 

seen a red ss/sc at the venue tonight after the godsmack concert, round midnight, anyone?
