I'm sure those cardboard boxes will support the weight of the car.

Im not really that worried yet. All type type of work is new to me so I try to take it slow. Im sure there a way around pulling everything off but for me I think it was best.

oh ... no the wood and boxes are just holding up the brake caliper and knuckle.

Now that the seal is out, comes the fun part. Gotta press the new seal in, evenly without destroying it. IF you have some grease, turn the seal upside down, so the side that goes INTO the trans is facing you. There should be a "spring" all the way around the inner hole. This HAS to stay on, and its easy for it to come out. PACK that seal with grease that will help keep it in place

yeah just be careful of that spring.

packing grease around it keeps the spring in place thats why i mentioned it.

I had it tuned last year pretty conservative because I had stock exhaust, but this year i changed a bunch so I finally got around to re-do it.
Corn fuel will come once i can get justify spending the money on the injectors. Can't do much with the 60s i have no.. although i've been think of cranking the fuel pressure up and trying it.. but we will see

I'm going to pay off my Cobalt ASAP this year if possible. I think the new plan after the house is foreclosed on, is for me to just move back home to my mom's. I don't want to really, but I will save so much money. I'll be able to get myself out of debt totally in no time and then I can save money and play with some money as well. Which means that after bills are done, it might be time to buy a fun car. I see a Sky RL in my future possibly. If not, then I get myself an HHR SS.

Have you done it before Jeff? I've always thought it would be fun...I'd like to go bungee jumping, too. I figure at or by 30 is when I want to do it.

well if you forclose your credit will be kinda f'd up so idk if you'd be able to get a loan unless you have a cosigner.

Nope, your credit score will be fucked up and it'll be hard to get a loan for anything.

It will be a few years after the forclosure before you will be getting approved for loans.

Who said anything about loans...If I'm living at my mom's again and my debts are paid...I can save. I honestly won't be doing that though. It would be fun, but more headache and hassle and money I want to save towards a down payment on another home in the future. If I bought another vehicle, I honestly think I would like to buy a bike this time around...I would probably get a 2009 HD Iron 883 or Honda Shadow Phantom. Probably the HD since they're actually pretty cheap.

If everything works out the way I hope it will, then I should be able to have at least $25k in a couple years. If I wind up waiting up to 5 years, I'm hoping to have at least $50k...it all depends on if I have to pay child support and what not. It also depends on if I find someone else to share a home with. I really like this girl I'm seeing and if things work out well, I may have a reason to buy another house. Time will tell. I am not rushing into anything, especially since she has 2-2.5 years of school left before she becomes a Veterinarian Technologist (not to be confused with Vet. Tech...she's got more schooling and will basically do anything a Vet does). But if she's making good money and I can at least get my 2 year degree for accounting by then, I may be able to get a better job...otherwise I work on the 4-year and continue at Culligan even longer.

By 30, I'd like to know what I'm doing with my life again.
