my only point is that TTR shouldn't be hated on, especially in here. He does bring a lot to this community and tries to be competitive with the competition, I mean he is IN business..
HE should be welcome in here

Lets all have a beer!
Another dream like normal, but I was thinking...after my car is paid off (assuming I moved back home to my mom's)...TB SS...any thoughts? LOL...I wish. With a nice set of Kooks headers and a Corsa Exhaust system. K&N or Volant intake and a tune...I'd be a very happy camper for a while...plus I could haul all kinds of goodies.
Like I said earlier, I like to dream about different vehicles and I wouldn't get rid of the Cobalt because it's cheap transportation (cheap to insure, cheap to fill up, cheap to maintain, and just cheap to own). I even told Ryan this when he did my exhaust, but it would be cool if I had the money to make my Cobalt a total beast (fully built engine, turbo setup, built auto tranny) keep the outside looking like it does now so it's pretty much stock looking. Then buy an IRL or older SS/SC for a DD...lol...that would require lots of money and I'll never have it, but it would be fun to me.

Unfortunately no, I wish I did. But my current "shop" location is out of my garage until I can find/afford a shop. Doing exhaust work in general isn't exactly the easiest thing to do in the garage...ask 007Cobaltls lol
Most the performance shops locally do custom exhaust work using pre-bent tubing cut and welded. That makes things a little more expensive to do it that way because the pre-bent pieces are expensive. Mandrel benders are also expensive...lol its a vicious circle.
Most regular shops, either have a crush bender, or the will only put OE replacement on.. LOL I was the youngest guy in my old shop and I was the only one that knew the difference between crush bend and mandrel bends, AND I was the only one who knew how to weld and bend tubing.
Either way doing exhaust work without a lift..SUCKS !!! but i will still do it.
I will attest to what Ryan said...it was a pain in the ass doing mine...I have to put some more on because there is one little hole on top, but that muffler weld stuff works well. I was wondering Ryan, I pulled the exhaust tip up towards the bumper and it pulled the muffler and that spot that hangs down a little back up to where it should be...you think I could either shorten the hangers or just brace it up a little higher? By pushing it up it brings the tip inward a little as well so it looks perfect...I would just need to put a couple muffler straps or whatever on there to get it to hold where I want which is a cheap and easy fix.
Why what? The exhaust? Mine took a few hours to do (header all the way back) because we ran into some issues. In the end it was totally worth it and I'm happy as can be.

ZOMG i'm not a morning person.... day two of FINALLY being on day shift.
Whats with all the hate?
I've never personally met Aaron at TTR, but I have purchased a few things from him. Much MUCH MUCH better service than any other company on this site (I won't even get started with OTTP)
Plus TTR IS located in MN, so he should be welcome here just as you are!
I think if TTR would put a little more into putting there parts into actual RACE cars and prove that they work more and more people would stop being on the OTTP *******.

Stupid noob mistake by myself. The intercooler pumps on these car have almost zero suction and need to be gravity fed coolant in order to pump it. The way I had my hoses ran was causing the water to not be fed into the pump so it wasn't keeping up with the charger.
I have to re route my hoses and test from there, but I bench tested my IC pump and it works great when submerged.
