well to do bbk, you need a crap load of parts and the 2 piece rotors alone are almost $1k.

It looks like it says 225/40's, however it could say 235? Probably not though...The Exclaim UHP are OK tires, but get some grippy tires and you'll be set.

I wish I could find a set of wheels that I really like for cheap. Oh well.

I voted for you Ryan...if you wouldn't have entered, I would've voted for the Vette or possibly Pappy and his Focus.

Thanks Jeff. So to have the whole kit I need the rotors and then I have to buy new calipers and pads as well? What does your kit consist of?

* Rotors (come with custom hats made my JP)
* re-location bracket

The rotors are 2pc...so rotors + hat = 2pc BBK / time attack race rotor and you need the relocation bracket to relocate the caliper to fit the BBK. The relocation bracket moves the caliper out from its normal position off of your knuckle.

hople some of this makes sence

It does. The way it was stated on the good site made it some what confusing. So basically outside of JP's parts we would just need some good pads then. Thank you for clearing it up for me so when I talk with him I don't sound like a totally noob.

From the what I have seen it looks like you have gone more in depth than just a BBK. I just want to get the brakes for now to help out with Auto X and RA events. Did you get your car running better yet?

/\ either way you'll need to shave your knuckles down a bit...I posted a pic in the LSJ BBK details thread (on other site). I just wanted to switch it up to LNF knuckle to make sure I was safe on track. Stock knuckles have a higher chance of failing than G6 or LNF knuckles.

Where did you get your knuckles from? CED, GM Parts Direct? I want to try to keep the budget around 1.5K with pads, new ss brake lines, and other misc. parts.
