Why haven't I gotten better yet? I've been sick for 2 weeks...fever that will not go away. Coughed up blood Tuesday night so I went to ER and they held me for a few hours..gave me an IV because I guess I was fairly dehydrated, blood tests, x-rays, results...Bronchitis...10 days worth of medicine that I will be taking day 4 pill tonight and I honestly don't feel any better. I was told after the 2nd or 3rd pill I should feel some changes, but nothing is different, nothing is better.
I hope it is Bronchitis that I have and not something else that they can't figure out. I guess I wait out the medicine a few more days and see what happens. I still go from cold to overheating and have a bad cough and headache that doesn't go away. Lots of Gatorade and eat what I can (my stomach doesn't allow me to eat a lot of solid foods, but when I can I will).
JUST MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!!! Or take me out back and shoot me please. I don't want to go back to work Monday if I'm not feeling better tomorrow. I worked all the past 2 weeks because we've been short handed and was needed, but we're back to full staff Monday...
I guess the main question is when do I make another doctor's appointment? Do I wait through the medication and see if I get better or do I make one sooner and say "Look, it's not working, figure this **** out!"?

I would go in right away. Like they said you should have felt better a week ago after the third or forth dosage. Coughing up blood is not good man. That right there is enough to make the call or even head to the ER. Do you smoke?

I write too quickly and don't put things in order I think...
I have had a fever since the 10th along with a few other symptoms (aches, weakness, cold sweats, etc)...after day 7 (about the 17th) I started having congestion and a cough...on the 19th is when I coughed up blood...an hour after that happened is when I went to the ER...today now being the 24th is technically my 15th day of being sick.
That's how the rest of it has gone...today being day 4 of my medication, not feeling any better. My temp is closer to normal but still high...I attribute that to taking aspirin now though.
So to re-state the questions...has it been long enough after the ER doctor and 3 nurses checked me over? Being that nothing has gotten worse and nothing has changed really? Since it's been only 5 days since I was in the hospital? That's why I'm curious if I should make an actual doctor's appointment to be checked out sometime this week or if I should wake a little longer (because I'm not getting worse...just not showing marked improvements)?
As for smoking, no, I've never touched a cigarette or anything else. I grew up in a smoking household though. Their main questions all centered around TB and I kind of laughed at that because I highly doubt it to be probable I would ever wind up with that even though it is possible.

@#$@#$ the 2011 STi wagon looks like a good choice. What are thoughts on the engine issues? not a big deal?
I found a 2010 STi wagon w/ 3500 miles for 29,999. And a 2010 Evo X w/ 10k miles for 29,999. Rather buy new but saving 10k dollars is always welcoming. 2011 sti has a lot of upgrades vs the 2010.
