I looked for a used ariel atom yesterday in MN...couldnt find anything. I've found them before though, but car soup removed ariel from its list. The new 3's start at 45 or 49k so a used one I could see between 20-30k. I wouldnt mind a atom 2 with the lsj anyway, the 3 has a honda motor and optional SC. This is a car thats on my list to own sometime in my life.

well going off the list you provided of materials you'll bring to test drive i'd say you're my number one driver

yeah, it'll be a custom built atom with my old engine block but i'm certainly gonna build that baby up for some more power and i'm gonna do it all the right way, just have to do some research on the chasis and frame and what not.

i'll be payin off my car before i really get goin on that though so don't expect that to really start for another year and a half or 2 years now that i have a 6000 loan to pay off as well

Quick question...I'm working on getting my lazy ass going on re-building my computer...need to put it all together and get a copy of Windows 7 to get it up and running....anyway, I'd also like a laptop/netbook....probably just a netbook since it would be used basically for internet and that's really it....

Are there any decent ones on the market for less than $500? Also contemplating getting an Ipad in the future instead (looked at them tonight at BB and I like what I saw). My wife gave me $300 from our state returns to spend as I please and I'm debating on getting my tattoo (which I think is where the money will go) or getting a netbook or using some to buy Windows 7...maybe 2 copies of it (it's $99.99 w/ free shipping for system builder 64-bit on Newegg)...second copy would be for a gay ass HP laptop we have that isn't very old, but MS came up with the "this isn't a legit copy of Vista" deal and HP nor MS will help me out....not to mention the computer has built-in wireless, but the ******* mobo had issues and it doesn't work (this is a problem that spans the generation of laptops...it's a hardware problem that HP didn't care to fix under warranty)...I'm done with HP for laptops PERMANENTLY! Desktops probably as well...I will probably just build my own from now on...hell I've pretty much re-built the entire HP I have now except the optical drive, hard drive, and case....everything else is new.

Anyway, I'm rambling...so any decent netbooks or just buy a copy of Windows 7 and a wireless card for the laptop I have?
