So last night I get home at about 11:15 and I'm down in my room getting ready for bed and I swear I hear someone knocking on my back sliding door just outside my bedroom door. Thought I was just hearing things until I step outside my bedroom door and I hear it again with someone saying "Anyone in there?"

I walk immediately back into my room and grab my shotgun () and head up stairs with the dog. Not more than a minute later, I have this ******* on my front porch knocking on the front door. I'm on the phone with my mom at the time and she is screaming at me not to open the door. Here is what I get:

Crack Head Guy: "Do you have any gas for sale? My bike is out of gas."
Me: "Uh, what?" I don't have any gas for sale..."
Crack Head Guy: "Well to tell you the truth man, I don't really need any gas, I just need a place to hide... the cops are waiting for me just down the road."
Me: "Get the **** off my porch and get out of here, now."
Crack Head Guy: "What did you just say to me?"

Guy is staring at me at this point and looks like he's ready to jump through the door and kill me. Guys eyes look like they are falling out of his head (he was clearly high on something). Thank God my dog Max starting barking at that point because I think the guy got a little freaked out and he took a step back. At that point, I slammed the door in the guys face and I called 911. Not more than 20 seconds after I hung up the phone with the dispatcher lady, there is a cop drifting into my driveway with his lights blazing.

I step out onto the porch to meet the cop and he asks me to describe the guy. After I describe him, the cop says, "Can you come look at a picture of this guy? I think I know who it was." Sure enough, it's this meth head that the police have been looking for for a couple of months for manufacturing and distributing meth and fleeing cops amongst a bunch of other felonies. After I postively identify the guy, the cop calls in the fricken calvary. In less than 20 minutes, there is 10+ cops combing the neighboorhood/back yard and a couple of the cops pull out .223 rifles, there are a couple of search helicopters looking for this guy and a few K9 units were there too. It was fricken crazy.

Safe to say I didn't get any sleep last night. Why my bro and I moved to meth county (St. Francis), I don't know...

If that guy woulda ran into my house I woulda splattered him all over the wall. Seems like the cops are onto him though, do you have neighbors all over where you live?

 

I was seriously scared that he was gonna attack me or something. The guy was looney.

We have a rather large yard (as do our neighbors), but yeah, we do have neighbor's. Fricken street was lit up yesterday with cops everywhere. It was kinda neat, but still freaky in some way...

Alright I have everything under control thanks sput but I got it worked out. Now time to clean up the mess. So, I now will have an extra 2.8 pulley from zzp and name finally got back to me and had made me a hub. Problem is too late. He called at 7 but I allowed the shop to next day a new pulley and hub. So, brand new zzp 2.8 and smoothflow custom hub for the zzp I won't go pick up from nate unless someone wants it. Call me or pm me. Just doong 90.00 with saving shipping cost. Everyone here who knows nate knows he most likely is spot on with his work. Would like to let him know tonight or tomorrow asap. I know some on here were looking at the 2.8 setup and now Its available and will either meet part way or we can. set something up for the uni normal meet this weekend. Let me know. thanks.

 

Anyone down for Country Road Tour Sunday May 30th?

* This would be about a 400mile round trip cruise with most of the Tour spent in Wisconsin.

* This wouldn't be a gumball run, just a nice drive through the back roads.

* We'd meet up at 8am and return to the Twin Cities in the afternoon.


-Id like for us to have at least a small group...being that it'll be just us and I'll be leading. If enough interest is shown I'll start a thread. Don't add your name to the list if your one of those guys who always backs out last minute.

Sure!

Just be careful...like most country roads they tend to have some gravel on the road in the twisties. You can even see it in the image I posted above.

...Id just like to avoid have to many cars on this tour. We've run it with large groups and it just gets a bit to crazy. Avoid posting this on other message boards though if you could.

bikes...I almost want to say no if its with a group of cars. Last time we had a couple bikes they couldnt keep up and skid out.

I dont think we'll run ultra fast so everyone should be good. We'll take it a nice moderate pace so that its a safe tour. I don't have decent tread on my tires anymore to go wild anyways.
