thats trur but he only needs to replace the plastic pulley not the whole hydralic set up just the pulley, it does come off one plastic cap and a bolt

and hes having the issue with the pulley not the tensioner its self

in the middle of the pulley on the tensioner theres a plastic cap it comes off theres a bolt holding the pulley to the hydrolic part of the tensioner,

other wise he could be having issues with the pulley inbetween the crank pulley and the tensioner you can bearly see it cause of the way its bolted to the engine that pulley is also plastic

 

i found the pulley for $43. So do you think i could do it in a day?

 

if you have half a brain you can do it in 45mins or less

 

I may have a pulley laying around unless I gave it to derek

Jon when you push on the tensioner to get the belt off wear a glove with padding. The wrench will dig into your hand like a SOB. Hopefully yours wont be so stubburn.

umm i wounder....not.... and jon i dont have the pulley i have one but its not for the tensioner. curt hasnt checked yet i will be going over by his house 2maro i'll let you know id he has one. but i highly doubt it.
