Most people talk out of there ass when they talk about how much horsepower there car is making.They add a couple of mods,add up the horsepower that the company claims it makes,and assumes there car is putting that much power down.I hear so much bullshit coming out of peoples mouths when they talk about there car.I just laugh and let them believe what there saying is true.

 

I think it'd just be funny to see if they can put 300+hp worth of pull on a stock RL.

 

Let me shed some backround on one of the kids that was saying 300+whp.

First off, he says that Redlines have a different blower and Cobalts are alot faster. Second, I raced him in my GTO and put about 10 cars on him in a short race, yet he tells people he beat me . Wow. Stage 2 with 2.8" pulley and intake should keep up with a stock GTO from a roll.

 

hahhaha, are you serious? His stock GTO trapped 109-111mph. I don't see a stage anything coming close to that.

by keep up you must mean a stage 2 cobalt might only loose to a LS1 GTO by 3-4 car lengths.

an LS2 is a different story. probably more like 8-9 cars there.

stage 2 cobalt = 102-105 traps
stock LS2 GTO = 108-111 traps

seeing as trap speed is the only thing that matters on a roll race id say you should be able to do that math.

He's got a red one in the Bristol area, I hear through the grapevine all the time that he tells people he smoked me. A 5 minute chat with him would let you know how rediculously out of line his claims are. That why when I saw you I was asking about your car/mods and stuff to make sure you knew what was going on. Obviously you did, but if you tried talkin to this kid you'd probably want to kill someone.
