BYT is in the Pocono's. Not sure if Nick is still tuning but he was one of the good ones out there.

When you say looked at are you having a mechanical issue with your car?

Rotors are not even thickness all the way around and need to be machined or replaced along with pads ideally. Car giving any DTCs (MIL light on?)? My first thought is your plugs may need to be changed. Do not use any plugs other than the OEM AC Delcos as they are the proper gap and heat range for this car and will not cause misfires like the autolites and others out there.

There is a guy in Reading who does really good work for reasonable money. He tunes a lot of J's in the area(including mine) and works with LSJ swaps and his personal LNF solstice. His name is Ryan. If you're interested I can get in touch with him for you.

Talked to him last night, he said he'd be down to tune. His prices are very reasonable and believe me when I tell you he has a fantastic reputation for tuning on j-body.org; he's the only person I trust with my car. Email address is rwl041@netscape.net. His name is Ryan.

I do tuning up here with my buddy in Lowell MA. We actually came down last year to norther NJ and had a bunch of people from NJ and PA come by and get some tunes either sorted out (BYT's doing) and come custom tunes done from the ground up. If you are interested let me know.

Do you guys have any experience with J-Body PCMs? I know a few guys from this area looking for custom tunes on SC & N/A.

Nothing with the J-bodys yet. Mainly LSJs and LNFs with a few LS4 in the impala/monte carlo. Shouldn't be a big going from the LSJ to the L61 tune wise. Tuning concepts still stay the same on non-direct injected engines. If you guys want to come by and hang out, we have a good group getting together this Saturday. You can view it through the link below:

Awe man definitely let me know next time! I just liked you on facebook. Going to the RI meet tomorrow or I would definitely have come up there.

Problem with the J PCM is that we're stuck with Alpha-N tuning and even the SC setups have about half the tables of an LSJ cobalt. There's definitely some guess work involved, which is why experience is so important. Trifecta has blown up 2 turbo J's that I know of. If you're willing to burn the hpt credits you can pull the tune off of mine to see what I mean.

WB O2 sensor could be going out or you could have a bad purge solenoid which can cause misfires as the A/F swings all over the place.

The purge solinoid was replaced already so I know it's not that and would the o2 throw a code?

Sometimes it will throw a code but I have seen one go bad and take a while to throw a code.
