well cobalt took a nice 250mile trip, met some new peoples upstate. Got to do a few pulls, car is still running strong oddly enough

paul i'm gonna do my brake this friday. i've got all the stuff i need but one thing...what is the stuff called that you put on to stop the squealing of new brakes? is it just brake cleaner to make sure there's no dust?

 

You have to grease the back of the pads. That will stop a lot of the noise but soemtimes brakes are just noisy especially ceramics.

 

actually the ceramics aren't noisey it's the metallic pads you gotta worry about. I didn't use the grease on mine and no noises so far

just ordered springs! 2" drop and I did some de-badging and de-winging today so I'll have it looking better than before in no time. That means brian needs to come over this weekend and give me his cobalt expertise. and out of curiosity why would you get a subie over an 08 ss tc. I don't usually rip on other people's cars but that's pretty gay man.

 

hey don't forget me, i have a monte too. Also just ordered an 09 red tint g85 cobalt today. Should get it by the middle of sept. On top of that I am also in the market for a house but in PA.
