18 mm. It is a bitch and a half to break w/o a breaker bar, and the genius engineers at GM decided up put the brake line to hose mount/connection right in the way so you can barely fit the socket on the nut.

the caliper guide bolts are still 14 mm. btw, compressing the piston on the rears is the hardest part after breaking the mounting bolts loose. hope you have a good c-clamp.

took me a while to do. About 8 hours total, between removing them, cleaning them, painting them, wire wheeling the hubs, installing new pads and rotors and bleeding the system on all 4 wheels. it was also my first time so i took my time to make sure i did everything right.

 

wow. my rear rotors are fine..just need new pads..any decent brand to buy?

 

Do any of you guys have a catless downpipe for sale that i can mount with slp shorty header and catback exhaust? I cant stand the rasp under boost.

I will gain horsepower though right? Will a zzp downpipe fit with my SLP catback and shorty header? It's only 150 and they give you a $50 credit for your core.

 

if it fits in the stock location, then yes it will. You will pick up power, but it's gonna be really really loud. and the raspiness problem is not with the down pipe, but the SLP exhaust. It sounds like crap on the cobalts.

 

Well i have been threatened by some unknown person that is stalking me. yo dude i just got a one piece RDFabs stainless intake in trade for work and i don't want to ruin the sexiness of the polished look. instead of drilling and tapping a hole for the valve cover breather tube i just figured i'd put a 12mm breather filter where the hose connects to the valve cover. i shouldn't run into any problems at all like that right?

With the power level you are at it won't cause any breather issues is what I meant. You're not building enough crank case pressure to require a bigger breather
