So there's still meets on saturday nights on dpa at taco bell I was there last night repping the bowtie. I did some african american engineering and took a sawzall to my muffler and slipped on an old n1 tip I had. It sounds so good though! It's just temporary til I get a GOLD apex'i tip and bend my own pipes. hate on the gold haters

Oy brakes are a bitch! I find it funny that on the rear brakes the caliper mounting bolts are 18 mm and the front are only 15. Seems a bit odd. I could barely crack the nut loose on the rears.

Pads were worn pretty bad. Driver side front was much worse than passenger side front (but it was almost to its screecher bar) and the rears look like they've barely been used. Rotors had that stupid lip on the edge so pull the caliper off was a pain. Painted them up with 2 nice coats so hopefully they will last longer this time. gonna get the new rotors (the black, dimpled, slotted EBCs...yeah baby!) on, put the brakes back together and hopefully not die due to brake failuer on the ride home.

I am damn exhausted.

I know. Its the taking off of the calipers that sucks. I had to repaint them. Cleaning them was fun too. Steel wool and hot water with dish soap. what a mess. hopefully the paint will stay on this time. it was just peeling off last night when i hit it with the brake cleaner.

I was really nervous on my initial ride after I changed them. My rents live at the top of a hill so if they failed it would have been a bad day. Luckilly after my first 5 30-0 runs and the 3 60-0 runs all was well. Ah yes and figuring out that one of the wires slipped off the connection for the ebrake handle helped greatly too. Those 60-0 stops were real quick.
