on the plus side last night, i let my friend borrow the z06 to race a gran turismo S. 30-120 he put 5 cars on the guy. Great way to ruin a guys excitement over the car he just picked up the day before.

Yeah, I couldn't make it last night. Didn't have my car. Had the ex's TL Type S with me. Should be out next Friday depending on weather.

Yeah it's acting weird. I put the car in fifth on the highway go wot and at about 3k rpm it just shoots to 4k and stays there. Now i know my car is not strong enough to spin fifth so.

 

that/s all that uber 4 banger torque lol.
Might just need to be babied for a little while. It might come back like the ss/sc's did. But once mine started slipping in 5th it was game over

 

yeah thats what im gonna try to do but if it doesn't work (which i don't think it will) im gonna use the money from the turbo sale to pick a new clutch up. Either way it's not really a good sign considering the power increase in the next week.

 

yeah I know man, hahn already toasted their stock clutch a while back. I think clutchmaster has something out. I'll find out tomorrow for you

oh they did, but I don't think it can handle the instant tq of a tuned one. It might come back though. My stocker went out here and there and always came back til the end

 

the balt almost met it's demise this morning via taxi. ****** didn't just merge into me, he cut hard into my lane doing 30 as I was passing him doing 60... I can't believe I went onto the shoulder of the triboro bridge (contruction) between a bunch of barrels and the wall (less than a lane wide) and didn't hit anything. I threw everything I had in the car at this non english speaking piece of donkey **** mother ****** and the dude wouldn't even look at me. Even jumped out of my car at the toll booth and ran at the piece of **** and he took off. God I wish I was in my jeep cause I woulda put that dude into the wall
