i know octane booster is crap, but could i dump some in just for a couple of days so my car is not knocking like crazy?

any gas station sells it. I use mobil/exxon though. Sunoco when I come across it

How hard do you guys think it would be to put an LSJ into a MkII VW?

 

anything can be done with a good fab shop. Just going to need to transfer over the entire drivetrain, PCM, wiring harness, BCM (if you want the factory cobalt gauge cluster) custom axles probably, custom engin and trans mounts, etc etc

I want an mkII vw for a dd. Probably a GTI or a Jetta Coupe. Might as well make it fast. 250 whp in that car will fly. I can get a shell for between $800-$1k. I thought about doing the 1.8t swap but everyone does those. Plus i miss the whine of the heaton.
