I'll be down all next weekend, early friday night if you want to meet me by my parents would be good. I have a **** ton of work to do on one of mezz's vette's thats going to take up pretty much every waking hour of saturday and sunday

How did you guys do yesterday?!

 

yesterday was too much fun! i started getting along with the neon as i went lap after lap. started at my slowest time 71 secs around the track and ended my fastest lap in 58 seconds which seemed like a blast to me!

The stock suspecion on the neon and all season tires did not help much at all and the fact that it was my first time doing auto X made it worse, but it was still freaking great. cant wait for the next event!

on the other hand Mr james did great with his full suspencion setup and unicorn made CMs lol


it was a very fun day

 

yeah we all had a blast !

my first run was 65 sec, by the last run i had it down to 53.102 secs, .... almost a 52 sec run lol .

The fast guys who autox all the time were putting down 47-49 sec times ... just for a reference.



As soon as the final results get posted I will share the link for everyone to check out our competition and stuff.

congrats guys, I haven't done an autox in years, but damn I had a good time. Once my car is back in race shape I"ll definitely be joining you guys.
btw how did the pump thing work out for you

 

Yea I cant wait for more poeple to come join us, we really had a blast all day... you learn your car more and more each time.


The pump thing was ahhh lol .... i found that if i left the car running and opened the hood in between runs that IAT2 would drop about 10* from just sitting there with the hood open, i think the MAX i saw was 150* sitting there, Engine coolant temps also dropped about 10-20* with the hood open in between runs.
