Dyno day time .... Paul what ya think ?
in my opinion his car is far from dialed in, theres at least 50 more hp if he's willing to take the necessary steps.

no methanol just makes power, at the proper air fuel ratio methanol releases 20% more btu of energy than gas and 15% more than e85, if we set you up with with a heavy dose, say an m15 and an m10 on a 250 psi pump that would be around 200lbs an hour of meth being sprayed at full tilt, now I didn't bother to do the calculations but I would guess that would make up for at least 30 percent of your fueling. if that's the case just on the way meth burns alone you would gain 5% more power.

now we have to look at how an engine makes power. The more oxygen we get in with proper afr the more power we have. how do we get more oxygen, A BIG V8... but that's out for you because you got a shitty cobalt (and yes I can say that because I owned 2, and they broke a lot). but seriously now how do we get more oxygen in. first lets look at da.

density altitude: or d.a. for short is the amount of oxygen in a give volume of air. Three things can affect this, pressure, temperature, and water vapor in the air or humidity.

first lets start with pressure, standard atmospheric pressure weighs 14.7 pounds in a space of one square inch in your x and y planes and roughly 20 miles in your z plane. this is what we normally have to work with in a natural aspirated engine. to make more power with this we can upgrade the exhaust, air intake, or better yet change the heads and the cam. This will help make more power and you did all this which is good. now to make even more power you supercharged your engine with a roots blower. we all know roots make 90% plus boost as fast as your foot hits the floor. this is good, cars are snappy and take off but roots blowers compress air in the intake manifold and this creates turbulence and that heats the pressurized air very much so. this is very bad, but the good thing is say if you run 29 psi of boost you essentially triple the size of your engine while in boost. so far you have this covered.

temperature, for every 10 degree drop in air temps you pick up 1.11% horsepower. Im not pulling this out of my ass this is a fact. this is why records are set at the track in October and November. now in your case you have roughly 170 degree iat2's which is bad. all that air you pressurized has very loose oxygen content. you want your oxygen dense. to do that we need to get the heat out of the charge. INSERT METH INJECTION when you add meth injection pre blower so It can chill the air charge as it's getting compressed not only will you have more pressurized air but the oxygen content will be dense. Now to make this happen with a roots blower you have to spray a MAN SIZE SHOT. no ***** m5 nozzle setup on a 100 psi pump. That's childs play. see paragraph one for MAN SIZE SHOT

humidity or water vapor. unfortunately we can not change the humidity in the air on a given day, it is what it is. the higher the humidity or water vapor in the air and subsequently in the charge entering our engine the less power we will make. This is bad but we can't control it. What we can control however is when using a meth injection kit is NOT ADDING ANY WATER TO THE ******* MIX AS THIS WILL KILL POWER.

now some quick math, meth as a fuel sprayed in heavy volume will net at least 5 percent more power. dropping your iat2's from 170 to say 50 should net 13% more power and on top of that with the extra octane afforded by the meth you can add ignition timing and quite possible drop another pulley size.

in conclusion, spray meth kids, lots of meth, and only meth, water sucks it really really sucks.

alky control I think is what mike is running, one of the few kits setup for running 100% meth.
and mike does lots and lots of research, and for some reason actually cares about making you cobalt fast lol.
I'd listen to the man.
of course this also means more work for me on the tuning side lol.

Get alky control. Its the best and is meant to run 100 percent meth. Plus it comes with nice braided steel lines and a good high pressure pump. It cost a bit more money than the other kits but is well worth it

No he will still need it. Maf readings wouldnt change at all if the nozzles were placed after the maf sensor.

just reduce the attack rate on the knock sensor, bumpy roads won't be a problem anymore
