Cobalt Gathering tonight...

Hey all..

Great to see everyone tonight. Dave, Dan... I told my geritol... I'm good to go for tonight now...

It was good to meet all you new people tonight PittsburghSS, The Sunburst Kid... and your friends, and Alicia's friend as well. I think she's more of a fanatic about her car than you!....

Such a blast doing all this with everyone and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making me feel like one of the gang.

Take care and have a great weekend

Don't forget mom tomorrow.

Well, mods have their price....

Yeah, I have to say.... Everyone's cars are very much individualy nice in the changes they've made. It was amazing how many people commented on the cars as they walked by. Not sure if anyone else noticed...

It's nice to bounce ideas off people that have the same car. That way, they might see something you do't and make suggestions you would've never thought of.

That reflective flat black vinyl... KILLER idea! As long as it's something that the local LEO's would give me a hard time about.. sounds stupid I know... but I always worry about that stuff.

The one thing I can say is that it's great to see that everyone so far I've met seems like good people. So many times you meet people in this type of circle, and there's always one or tow that are "difficult" to be around....

OK all... time for bed. Us old folks have to get our rest...lol

Later

AUTOCROSS next WEEKEND!!!! woooo hooo

I second all comments. It was nice to meet you all. Its fun hanging out with people that share a common interest as we do. Hey Dan what kind of headlights do you have in your SS. Silverstars? They look really bright.

Yah it was fun to see everyone tonight. I was mad that i left early cause i thought it was going to rain but i guess it didnt. I also did notice and overheard people talking about all our cars which is always a good thing. After i left i went out to drive around when i got back home and i had a run-in with a hardass ina GTP lol. He was a tough race for me cause he would always gun it in a bad RPM range for me but my buddy handed him his ass in his turbo eclipse. But all in all i had a fun night.

Yeah... once again a nice little get-together. I have to say... I think we Pittsburghers have a damn good Cobalt community n'at.

Good to meet the new guys too. Hopefully we'll see you around more.

And props to Dave tonight. We went back to his garage after the cruise and he installed my sub and amp. It's a decent little system for being run off of the factory h/u. I have a lot of rattles that need fixin. But Dave is the master. That was the second time I went to his garage and came out happy (and feeling useless since he did just about all of the work). He needs to go into business.

Anyway... see yinz around n'at.

Dave new bizz.... DCC, inc... Dave's Custon Cobalts....lol

It must be something about cars and the people in this area. Any club you get into, or group of people that do car stuff together, seem to be a great tight-knit group that get along well, even if they are way different personality-wise.

Dan,
How do you guys get those pics in your sig like that..... those turned out cool...

When you check out the DVD Dave made, let me know what you thought of the pics in the slideshow. I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know how many of mine made it in, but want to know what others thought of the pics.

Brian, the pics you got are great......you actually got pictures of more cars then just ours. Other people got really good pictures too, but you seemed to focus more towards everything that was running.......but good pics none the less from everyone

....and of course, have to give Wes credit for the good quality videos....thanks

Thanks!

It's one of the few pros to being a "car nut" to the level I am. Cars facinate me and no matter what you drive ( well not a KIA, or something like that ), I always find something that is cool about that car. I love driving as many as I can get my hands on and that I'm allowed to get near...lol

Cars at car shows are cool, but there's NOTHING like watching them doing what they were built for... except maybe beign teh one behind the wheel.

Yeah, Wes did a great job on video. Can't wait to see the next round.

Brian,
I have a photo editing program (very similar to Photoshop) that I used to make my sig pic. It's a sweet program.

And also... if anyone wants them, I have a ton more photos (103 total including the ones of us). I have pics of all kinds of cars that were running. I just zipped all of ours because the zip file would've been huge with all 103 photos at 7.2MP. Let me know if you want the other ones and I'll get them to you.

Dan,

If you got any of my cousin, Ryan's black Subaru WRX ( that really LOUD ONE ), I would take them. I can email him those. I know he was thrilled when I had pics of his. I guess he doesn't have a posse with him...lol

Well from the videos that I have from my camera as well, I think he ran like right after me. So I didn't think I had any.

I checked my stash anyway to be sure... and no black Subarus. Sorry.
