What's up all ya'll crazy Cobalt owners?!?! I'm driving an 04 Trailblazer right now, have a modified cold-air intake, Air-raid throttle body spacer and cat-back exhaust. Have some stereo upgrades too, but as of now am ALL about performance..
My question is...I'm movin back to good ole Jersey first week in Aug. and am seriously thinkin bout gettin a Cobalt SS/SC. Have ya'll been seein alot of blue ones rollin around? Still on the fence as to what color to get, but it's prolly gonna be between blue, black, and silver. More so black or blue. Any other ideas as far as where to start wit my mods would also be greatly appreciated. As far as what intake ya'll prefer, and what would be a good exhaust setup?? I want a deep tone, not too worried bout loudness but am more concerned about power gains.. So...Hook a fellow GM Lover up please..Thanks

I have the K&N CAI and love it. As for exhaust, most people like the GMPP Exhaust or the Magnaflow one the most I would say. Color wise, I have only seen red and black around me, my second choice of color when I bought mine would of been blue though.

 

I'm going to be in the Burlington area. And I agree, that blue is a nice color. As far as performance gains and tone, which seems to be the better buy outta the two?? Anybody seen a red (black body kit) 98 cavy z24 riding around?? It's crazy loud, dark tinted windows, pretty fast too?? Just wonderin, he's a good friend of mine. Really wants me to buy a Cobalt SS/SC so he can see how he fairs. Came across one or two in the area and he says no one wants to run him. lol

 

I would say go with the GMPP Exhaust personally. I've only heard good things about it. I have never seen that cavalier your talking about.

 

I was just wondering about the Cavy sightings. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help. I cannot wait to get back to Dirty Jersey so I can do some Cobalt shoppin. I Love my TBlazer, but nothin like a good ole Chevy hotrod, no matter how small it is. Ok ok, its no Chevelle(get one of those down the road) but considering fuel prices, and the small car scene nowadays...GM must represent. D*mn tired of all the Hondas and Mustangs thinking their fast, time to get beat by some GM inginuity.

As soon as I get that Cobalt, ya'll will be one of the first to know for sure... As of now, he lives right near the Cue Club (if that's still there, been awhile) He cruises 38 alot with two camaros normally. A red one, loud and damn fast, and a blue/green one, with SLP Loudmouth exhaust. His Cavy is the only one around like it, dropped, with black ground effects(not painted yet) black type rims, crazy loud. He's a good guy, weather you beat him or not make sure to stop an chat bout each others mods. His name is Greg.
