did you schedule your time yet? The shop I was talking about can't do a deal for only 2 cars.. If we did a dyno day with 6 or more he would be able to do $75 but otherwise it's normal price.

Yeah pookie put your car on the dyno and see what she's got. I know you haven't dynoed yet and we're going to be up in your area for the dyno pulls so you might as well join us

I no longer mention shops by name on forums anymore, but I will say the shop I planned on going to is located in Manchester and the shop elecblue06 plans on going to is in East Windsor I believe. The reason for 2 different shops is because the East Windsor shop is less expensive for dyno pulls, but I prefer to use the same dyno in order to see my true gains. I'm still waiting on a ******* part (which has taken 3 weeks now.. I'm pretty sure it's lost of something.. I'm pissed!) so I most likely won't be scheduling dyno time at the shop I normally go to.

i could meet up saturday on the pike, i have friday plans though. Just drop them off in hartford and cruise the pike lol. Sucks about your rim, I assume it was from a pot hole or just winter in general?

 

pot hole i just got a call from the state they are paying for the rim. i need to send them a bill from pontiac saying how much the rim is. and go from there.

lol im not going to have the G5 if im going to hartford im going to have my equinox. no way am i leaving my G5 in a parking lot in the middle of hartford.

yes sir I will be there. I've never dynoed there before but it's pretty inexpensive so why not. ****** car is giving me some **** right now though which is pissing me off. I've been getting some CRAZY kr (12*) at wot which is killing my power up top. It's gotta be phantom knock thought because with that much kr I should OBVIOUSLY be hearing it, but nothing is audible. Ehh whatever, I commited to the dyno so I'll just deal with the results.

Are you still gonna meet up with us?

woh.. did you change anything for you to be getting that much knock ? i mean it was 96* here yesterday and i was getting a little bit under light acceleration but nothing under WOT

 

well since I put this new charge pipe on and got these new boost tables from vince I've been having this issue on and off for a couple of weeks now. I removed the cp mount from off the manifold and the kr went away (thought maybe due to the rigitity of the pipe it was causing some phantom knock), logs were beautiful so we bunped the timing up a bit. KR came back.. ****.. went back to the previous tune, knock gone. Ok maybe it was too much timing so I stuck with the tune with less timing. I took the car out for a spin last night and boom, ****** car is falling on it's face again up top due to this god damn kr.

It comes down to it either being related to my charge pipe or the boost. I really want to say it's the charge piping because if it was too much timing and/or boost it should happen consistantly but it's not. At the same time I can't really see how my cp is causing all this phantom knock. grrrrrrrr

that is really strange.. the only thing i could think of is because of the heat yesterday that added to the issue.. so it might still be slightly too much timing .. vince will take care of it for you
