No hype. It's just a good area to meet up with other car people. Lots of cars to see, and every now and again you have some fun running against someone (obviously NOT on the pike itself). As far as doing productive things... Unfortunately you and I have a very different concept of what productive is apparently. It's all good, hense why you don't like meeting up with other car guys at the pike. Been there/done that many times over with the whole strip club thing to enjoy pissing that sort of money away anymore. Now I'd just rather dump my money into something more productive like my car, instead of a dirty ****** hole with bad make-up..

lol i make enough money where i dont mind seeing it go to some girl that just got out of high school and has no morals and takes her clothes off, lol and comeon dumping money into a cobalt we know isnt productive.

same here, its fun for me, gets good gas mileage, but for the money ive put into it, plus what the payoff is said and done i coulda got a slightly used C6 with 400hp out of the box and rwd.

Yeah that black cobalt was probably Taintedlives most likely... I was going to head out, but I got a late start and everyone else bailed so I said **** it and just hit up some local car gatherings in my area (the pike is a 40 minute ride for me)

yeah it was a last min thing going up there. i was going to have some beers and a fire at my house but didnt feel like it.

idk what to do about the door he feels bad about it what happen was i went to the mall with him and he opened the door and the wind got it and opened fast and hit the back end of a ford F150.

no the paint is fine but you can see the dent and there isint any on the car so it sticks out. im going to go have it fixed this week i just hope its not alot.

 

i totally embaressed a M3 two nights ago..he should feel ashamed.. we pulled twice from 60mph--140 and we stayed dead even and im almost positive he had some bolt ons...must have been an awful driver

 

im willing to bet it was a stock m3 because those things with bolt ons are monsters

 

i agree, just sounded pretty throaty for a m3 either way i know he was fuming bc his 60k car couldn't pull on my 20k

 

Yeah that was me. I did see another Cobalt down there. It was red with projector headlights, and the driver's door pretty much smashed in.

 

ooh my door isint anything bad lol. yeah i saw your car at t bell i was going to park but my car was a mess so we just drove around for a few then went home.

 

I actually got a red G5 GT.. and I'm usually up around New Britain, I go to CCSU.
