Our next event is July 15th & then July 29th.
Auto cross is a skilled timed driving event. Cars run the course one at a time against the clock for a minimum of 3 (usually 6) runs at an event. Car speeds range from 25 MPH up to 60 MPH on a 45 second course. A driver experiences corning forces up to 1 G & the come at the driver at a rate that is faster than a Formula 1 car.

It is an all day event from 8:00 AM till around 5:00 PM. Winners are given a trophy at the end of the day. We offer experienced drivers to ride with Rookies to help them develop driving skills.
Preregistration is recommended (save $10) through a link from our website(our site is under construction so I hope it works for you). Preregistered entry fee is $40.

Found this in my e-mail after talking to a coworker about cars. So my boss runs an auto-x club pretty freaking sweet. Thought i would share this with all of you incase anyone wants to head over to do this. I already signed up for the 29th just to see what its all about. Hope i dont suck
I got an invite to this a few years back from a member I used to be acquaintances with. The reason I never went is mainly due to the mods I have, which he explained would put me up against cars like vettes, cobras and other cars that are just simply out of my league.. lol

I'd love to do something like this, but I would have to demod the car quite a bit to get into a class where I could be competative. I'd be curious to see what class they place you in with the mods you have Greg. No wonder why you were in such a rush to get that dp put on! lol.. I just wish you had told me that you were going to be in an auto x!

That is the correct price for the citation. Pulled this right off the DOT website
ConnDOT: Adult Seat Belts

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is the Connecticut seat belt law?

A: Drivers and front seat passengers MUST wear safety belts. All rear seat passengers aged 4-16 years old.

Q: What is the fine for not wearing a seat belt?

A: A $92 fine.

Yes seat belts can save your life but I find it kind of asinine that I have to wear my seat belt in my car but i can cruise around on my motorcycle with no helmet...

Everyone down south with any li.d of performace car has the SAME EXTACT RIMS. I drove down the boardwalk and saw 10+ cars with the same rims. I think they were the asa 045s but still lol.

Lmao.. password protected?

They don't lock the ecm if that's what you mean. You can pull and edit the tune with hptuners with no issues.
