FAST06SS tuning in Pittsburgh

Please let's only post here if you are GOING TO BE TUNED and put you name on the list .....Thanks.

OK...I need a list of who will be ready to get tuned on HP Tuners by Rob (FAST06SS). I can arrange the dyno time $65 for 3 pulls ($25 for each additional) and arrange to put Rob up for the night.

If interested put you car year and model, mods and what weekend in August you want. We will take approximately 3-4 people.

We are shooting for
AUGUST 19th...

1. GTP 2.4SS 5 speed
2.
3.
4.
5.

You can PM me for price. But this is a GREAT deal for custom tunes.

Won't be very tuneable without the stock airbox. CAI will throw many parameters off.

Please don't say stuff like that..Rob will have no problems tuning with a CAI.

Why? Intense even said the tunes are better peformed on a stock airbox. I won't lie about that.

I am not trying to be an ass. I just see how these types of topics end up dominating the thread. We're just trying to get tuned.

I appreciate your concern but we can handle that issue.

3. CobaltSS313-(Stage 5, Corsa Exhaust, K&N CAI)

I'm in the process of uping to the stage 5. Can we get a estimated date of when he is coming? If he is coming in about a couple weeks then i should have the injectors and he can just tune my computer instead of me sending it back to intense for a retune cause it would be pointless.

I can't commit to anything yet, but depending on when he'll be out here, I'd love to get a good base tune to start with once I buy my 2.5" and 60lb injectors. I'll need some help with the install once I get the parts in....can you say work day somewhere? I'll buy the beer

They did say that but that is only becuase they tuned the cars with stock airboxes. So if you try to take their tune and run it with a cai it causes problems but if you tune the car to compensate for the cai it will be fine.

I am not going to volunteer folks but I am sure between Big Dan, myself and other wrenchers in the area we can get them installed in time.

I'm assuming we'll be using the dyno at Youngwood right? We could put him up at the Fairfield Inn at New Stanton for like $100+taxes with my corporate discount (probably around $32 each if we get 4 people to get tuned). The hotel's only like 3 miles from Youngwood. I'm definitely in for that weekend if we're on.

1. GTP 2.4SS 5 speed
2. PpAzZ1101 - 2.4 Auto (Injen CAI, 2.5" catback)
3. CobaltSS313-(Stage 5, Corsa Exhaust, K&N CAI)
4. nduchene - 04 Redline (2.6 pulley, 60lb injectors hopefully by then )

Wait, so Rob can only get 3-4 cars done? I may be in. Depends on how the money is. How much will it cost for a dyno tune?

Sorry guys - I have to back out. Found out today that work is sending me out of town that weekend, so I can't do it. I'd hate to pass this up, but work = money, money = stuff for my car.

It's OK though, I'll still be happy with a RL Dan tune
