joe i got a question about the interceptor. do you need to buy anything to make it read boost or do you just hook a vacuum line up to it?

you can get one either with a electronic boost gauge or by going to autozone or pep boys or wherever and asking the guy there about a boost gauge sending unit. it shouldnt be too much

I didnt need to hook it up to a vacuum line, The SS T/C just plugs into the OBD and thats it. I did know that the CN series cars like yours need a power source and I guess you will need a reciever since your car didnt come with boost from the factory. I have no idea what you would need for that?!

I think I know what Im spending my bonus money on this year

BNR Supercars - Bryan Nickell's Rotary Supercars - Solstice, Sky, Cobalt SS, HHR SS
K04-GT2860 and a Forge Motorsport piston BPV. I want the turbo to "appear" stock, but really kick ass. lol.

Yup, I only see benefit with getting rid of the factory rubber diaphragm.

$950 for a built K04 turbo is an amazing deal... Im not sure if that includes sending in a core (pretty sure it does though) So I gotta find a spent K04 or a used one of some sort.
