nope. was gonna put it on my parents policy but allstate says that the car needs to be titled in my name as well as my dads...but you can't be on the title and not the loan.

They tried the paperwork with both our names but my dads old company sent out a letter to some random person with all of my dads personal info...im talkin social, account # for his retirement plan and everything. So he had to put out a fraud alert with the credit bureau and it threw up a red flag when the dealer tried running the approval

so you get the car yet? so exciting, lol. Love it when people buy new cars.

Im surprised there was still a Cobalt SS T/C out there in brand new condition. I bought mine "brand new" with 400 miles on it, lol. It looked as if the dealer was using it as a test driver car

It was out on the front lot, doors unlocked and im pretty sure they were using it to test drive because it was a 4door... douche dealers.

I got mine for about the same price you did except I dropped $1000 up front and that lowered it to $20,400. My loan was for 4.25% APR under my dad's name of course cause my credit sucks.. and my payments were $379.99 a month. Insurance is pretty cheap on these cars too, Progressive only charges me $530 every 6 months. pretty cool.

i'm supposed to be there at noon to finalize. gonna call other insurance companies now and see whats up. I'm happy with a $380 payment because I have been paying $403.30 for my SS/SC....25 bucks is 25 bucks lol

Car had 124 miles on it when i got there for the test drive...they had it shipped from another dealer a few months ago. Did notice a shimmey from the front end at highway speeds...i'm thinking tires need to be balanced or might have flat spots in them from sitting for so long. This dealer has had it for like 4-6 months + however long it was at the previous dealer

$25 makes a big difference . Thats at least nice dinner once a month you can now have, lol. I told the dealer, I wont get the car unless its less than $380 a month so he pulled some strings with my trade in and got me lower financing than I thought I was getting and then he had to be a smart ass and make it exactly $379.99 a month

lol. i never told them where i wanted my payment to be...after they ran my credit and told me the rate and was like ur payment is...

I may just go with the geico for now even though the price jumped $400/6 months between 2pm and when i was at the dealer. I turn 25 in march so it will drop some then (i hope) lol

BTW, they are giving me $10,300 for my SS/SC and the payoff on it was only $8,100 so i have the difference as my down payment with nothing out of pocket!!!!!

Here she is...(you can see kyle in the window of the dealer lol)

Man I got in this morning and it is still here. They told me about the insurance. Guess I'll see you today when you pick it up. Sorry you have to make the trip again.

lol, I did the math first I knew what I was doing They lost on the trade in, lol.

Frankly I didnt see less than $400 a month being possible after rebates and trade in but I told him I couldnt afford more than $380 which was a lie.

I got $2000 for a 2000 tiburon with a beat up broken fiberglass bodykit, blown head gasket, side skirt fell off and was in passenger seat, no low beams lolol, rotted exhaust about to fall off, and an intake not made for the car with a hole in the filter.

Funniest thing is, I saw my old car at a used car lot on my way to work waaayyy out of the way from the dealer I traded it in too. It had a fresh paint job, all the stupid decals removed, fiber glass bodykit refiberglassed. My cousin joked with me and said I should go in there and start acting all ricerish, something like "Holy **** this car looks fast, Is this thing Turbine Charged?" "jeezus, I'd pay nearly $10k for this holy grail of all cars, I gotta test drive this thing!'

*Take the car for a test drive with dealer in car*

*do **** ton of burn outs and donuts*

*Then tell dealer, "im just ****** with you, I used to own this car" and leave*

When I was redoing my brakes (which is also something you should watch out for) we went to Pep boys to get the brake tool and There it was.... in all its glory, my old car. LOL.

An indian punk looking kid bought it and the left side skirt and front bumper already had cracks and ***** from it bottoming out, it was literally 1 in. off the ground. I will never lower a car like that again, lol.
