My job is officially retarded. I woke up around 530 this morning as i normally do, logged into the company server from my handheld//work phone and it didn't show a route. I finish getting ready and went to work. When I got there I checked for the paper copy of my route and it is nowhere to be seen. I walked into my sup's office and asked him what was goin on. This is the conversation:
him: "Noone told ya?"
me: told me what?
him: You're in training for the next 2 weeks, go home. Pass the class and make more money
me: ****...i could still be in bed


now I am up and no way in hell can fall back asleep. The good thing is if I pass this class it will be $3/hr raise!!!
I knew about a training class coming up soon but noone could remind me wednesday when I was leaving for the weekend? (was off thurs for MLK, and fri and sat are my usual days off)

 

although it sucks you had to wake up steve, after hearing the benefits and you being to turn around and walk out sounds pretty damn good too haha

The 1st day of training was boring as hell. I was told to be there at 8am and I was early but later found out class wasn't supposed to start till 8:30. We sat around bs-ing untill about 10 because the trainer wasn't prepared. Lunch was from 12-1:15 and we left at 4.
Start late, long lunch and leave early...and still getting paid for 8 hrs!!!!!

i heard that with this trainer, everyone will pass. Apparently when we take the test she will walk around and "help" us with questions that we aren't sure of. As long as we are not retarded and pay attention we will get that raise

 

I don;t think training classes are that hard... is it general stuff you kinda already know?

 

kinda but not really...i am certified for residential phone/internet and tv currently. This class is teaching me about doing all this stuff for a business and all the differences (internet and phone is gonna be alot more complicated)
