Dont mean to sound like a dick but i cant even begin to explain how wrong of a statement that is. Carmax makes a set $1500 profit on all new nissans and $3000 profit on all used vehicles. A good negotiator can get a much better deal at ANY dealership. Just tryin to help carmax just has everyone brainwashed

Cobalt needs a new motor already lol. Timing chain stretched and the slap of it broke a bolt into a block. All of it is gonna be covered by GM though

I have a question for countrySS, since you're a GM mechanic, is the tensioner for our cars a "self adjusting" tensioner? The dealer that has my car told me that I am not supposed to be able to move it by hand and that it is fine. I have never heard of this and how the hell do you get the belt on and off if they are right? When I did all my mods I just angled the supercharger and popped the belt on that way but I know it's not right. Never go to Ken Dixon Chevy in Waldorf, terrible mechanice, they take FOREVER to do anything and they never call you back even after 4 calls into them. They told me one day to do a dipstick tube and that was monday, they are "pretty sure" it will be done today....wtf is that??

which tensioner are you talkin about? timing chain or accessory belt? if i remember right since ive done both of my tensioners before, they were both self adjusting. the timing chain one is a hydraulic tensioner as well

The accessory belt. If it doesn't move then how are we supposed to change belts when the time comes? The only way I could get my stage 2 belt on was to pull the supercharger back off, put the belt on then angle it down and bolt it back on. Only takes 5 minutes to get it off but there should be a better way.

The only reason I keep going back to them is because they fucked it up before I voided the warranty with my mods and I didn't want to get stuck paying for it. I just wanted to make sure that the tensioner was ok and they weren't blowing smoke up my ass.

What is your car lowered on? Thats exactly how low I want my car to sit!!
