Obviously the svc advisors are clueless about the cars they service...she got in my car and asked me if I had anything else spliced onto the wiring besides this (as she looks and points at my rpd) I was like seriously???? It was a factory option

If you're looking for a good all-season tire, you can't beat Continental ExtremeContact DWS in a 235/45/17

A good summer tire, Dunlop Star Specs in the same size.

i believe that a 235 will rub on a cobalt. i run a 225 and im pretty close. but i deff agree. conti DWS is an awesome ******* tire.

but for summer tires the z1 star spec is a stupid heavy tire. there is the same if not more grip to be had with less rotational mass. esp for a N/a 2.2l

if your stock tire size is 195 65 15 then you need to get 225/45/17 makes the speedo perfect and has no rubbing issues.

hell. even if you have the 60 size wall get the dam 225 45 17 any way

i just undropped a 06SS at work... it had eibach sportline springs on it which road ok and dropped it a good 2 inches almost. Shame we have to throw everything away from the cars we work on! My only problem with those springs was that they were too springy/soft, probably would have benefited from a better or stiffer strut and shock combo

Exactly 235 40 with a smaller size aLl you'll be fine but at 235 45 it's a taller wheel and could easily rub.
