I hate my XM, going to be putting in my kenwood radio soon, just gotta work up to spending $80 on the install kit Wal-Mart has and hope it all works right.

Just did the dash pieces in the carbon fiber sticker stuff. I think it looks way better than the black paint I did a few weeks ago.

The Stance? They are pretty decent, they just gotta do something about the rear springs because they are too soft. I talked to Dave at Stance, he's the tech rep that worked on the design team for the cobalt and he helped me order a set of custom springs for it and I should have them in about 4 weeks or so. The install kit is a scoche or how ever you spell it. Best buy said it's $165, online I think it's about $75 to $90.

Here's a few pictures, the few with the stock wheels are from the night and day after the install. I have about 3/4" of threads left on the perches to go down. Gotta wash it and get a few better pictures with my camera.

It rides great in the front, the rear spring does nothing for the car with any extra weight in the rear. The 5k spring rate just isn't enough but he said guys usually don't ride that low so they wanted to keep comfort. The 7k's were $50 a spring. Hoping they come in before my trip to NY in July or else the car will be sitting home alone for 3 weeks.

Just found out how to get the radio controls off the steeringwheel so those will be getting done tomorrow.

I had ordered a set of Megans but they were on backorder until this week and the guy gave me a refund. To me the stance cold have been a little better with the rear since they cost so much but overall i'm prety happy with them. I can't go full low in the front because I get the damn SC shake in first from axle bind but i'm happy with where they are, maybe a little lower when I can drop the rear more and stay stiff.

Yeah I don't want to be fully slammed because the roads here are garbage. Thanks, it was a pain in the a$$ to do. The radio surround was the worst part because this stuff doesn't like to work with you ike regular vinyl does.

theres holes on the side of the steering heel you need to take a small flat head and push in on the tabs in the wheel and pull the airbad off. Make sure to unplug the battery lol

its tough, make sure you put it straight in(thats what she said). But tae a flash light and shine it in that hole and you will see the metal clip. Once you pop the one side out though put something in between the bag and the wheel so it doent go back into place.
