Well that is an exception but I don't think that is what he meant. I just resprayed the dash trim in my car with the body shop made spray black and clear since my compressor was broken. Still doesn't have the finnish that my gun gives though.

 

Can will never give you as good of a finish, obviously. With primer though you can get away with it, as long as you dont use crappy primer because the paint wont stick to it and your painter will get pissed lol.

Just really pisses me off the way these vendors are hit or miss. I ordered it two weeks ago so I would have plenty of time to get it, called monday and they had just ordered it from the manufacturer and were gunna have them send it to me. I really wish there was a decent parts dealer for these cars instead of litte "mom and pop" dealers that have no consistency.
