it's got 6 layers of clear I'm not that dumb

 

how are they not holding up then? Are they fading real fast, the clear should have locked everything down....

 

rain is making um fade and rain is still gettin underneath somehow making um come up idk what to do I'm done tryin to be different

 

did you clear it or did a shop?

They deffinately didn't do something right if water is getting through and especially with 6 coats of clear. I doubt the heat of the engine would do that to it, hoods don't get that hot.

 

may finally have some good news from GM between today and tomorrow......hopefully i'm not getting excited for nothing

 

just tell them to buy you a turbo off ebay for $300 and send you thhe new one when they get it

I think it looks good, always liked bronze wheels with that color red.

Call these guys, did mine for $85 a wheel and it looks amazing. I have taken the wheels off 5 or 6 times adjusting the suspension and still not even a chip of paint where the lugs go.

Right??? It costs the same to powdercoat as I paid for the rims lol....They were 429 before shipping/lugs etc

Hopefully gold isn't more expensive tho

I doubt it would be more but deffinately call them. Yeah it cost about the same as a new set but they don't come in anything but flat black and gray so you gotta pay to be custom. Hell all I did was get it done all gloss black but I feel it was worth every cent because even if someone spray painted theirs black mine is done right and will hold up so I wont have to redo them every year.
