Theres going to be a car rally in the next few weeks or so ( date pending, but a friday night) for all imports and domestics, from exit 172 (top of NJ) to exit 1 (cape may)
Its a night for pics, scenery, and cruisin. We need at least 20 cars to get a sponser, which would include the Rally stickers and possibly gas money. This is serious, they will be filming for a DVD called "getaway in the garden state". Let all your car friends know this in NJ, pass it on. This is serious and we need serious responses. Hit me back and let me know if your up for it.

^^ The above was posted in a jersey group on myspace...so far this thing seems like it's going to be pretty big. I have been in contact with the organizer and I'm currently trying to find out some more info such as date and so on. It is going to be a gumball type rally...meaning yes it is a race and the winner will win money. I guess you guys can contact the kid Jimmy by using the above link and see what happens

 

how the fck are they gonna pull off something like the gumball rally in NJ of all friggen states...ok i predict NJ State police are going to have a wicked night of giving out tickets....who would be crazy enough to speed their asses off in one of the most congested states in the US.

thats why you let all the other a**holes in the rally speed and get pulled over while you drive normal w/o getting pulled over and make it there safe and sound...not that hard to understand.......

 

lol...a cruise would be nice, a rally would be awesome...but a race through NJ is just asking for trouble. i don't know about you guys, but I'm not down with risking my license for a state long race. would be fun for a cruise and pics, etc. though.

 

but the point of making it a rally is for the racing...if everyone else is a million miles in front of you then why go?......i can drive through NJ at regular speed any given day....see where i am going with this... if ur not in it to win it...then why go.

growing up in NJ i have been up and down the tp and all over the place...cops are not very forgiving in that state at all....nj cops have nothing better to do then write tickets...i think in 3 yrs i got about 4 tickets for the dumbest **** ever...

 

it's not only for the race it is alos for the cruising aspects and picture taking.....also it should be an interesting sight....also like i said above while everybody is wasting time getting pulled over...obviously time will be made up by you driving normal......it also helps if you have a cop with you....hehe i'll admit i don't need the money so i'm not really in it for the race but more of the cruise and video taking...should be fun...too each's own

 

i think im just a wuss...LOL....sounds like fun and all...i just worry about things like this because there are always those few a-holes in the group that get crazy...just be careful...

 

yes i totally agree.....but you will find that usually no matter where you go (jersey j meet was pretty tame except for the young a-hole in the mustang) other than that i will be cruising with a small group of cars who are my friends and try to make it a fun time...if things get outta hand it's not like we'll be too far away from home......but who knows when it will be but if it's on a weekday i'm out...can only do weekends
