Yeah.. it was my favorite car as a kid. When I first got the internet back in 97 or so I remember checking out the upcoming 98 LS1s and drooling. Unfortunately I'm a college student with a son and a part time job. Two car payments just wasn't working out.

Yea man I don't blame ya. I'm still in college too and just had to sell my SRT4 because funds were getting a bit tight. It sucks, but I guess it has to be done. Oh well at least I still have my SS, she's my baby
Im like 15 minutes from there. I work in Aston on weekends at Towne and Country Cafe. I'm kinda lazy about car meets, so I doubt I'll make it out too often.
I went with AWD because at the time I already had a Trans Am that was more of a race oriented vehicle, so I needed some that had a bit more overall utility. I needed safety and 4 doors because I had a son a little under 10 months ago. The TA put down 399/380 (no spray)... cam, full exhaust, other dinky stuff, plus a 100 shot. I lost my second job due to a change of ownership of the business, and with it the Trans Am had to go. I ended up crashing it right before I was about to sell it, but it's gone anyway, so I'm happy.
I'm taking the 4:57 home at 30th street. I was actually about to park 2 spots over from you, but I had a ton of time before the train and went to go get a coffee. By the time I got back, someone had taken the spot.

Sucks to hear about your TA. I had another TC SS but it was totaled with only 800 miles on it parked on orange street in Media. I got new car replacement from the lady who hit my car when it was parked. I was at work at the time.

i believe he was running someone. going WOT around a bend on woodhaven where u cant see around. and he hit a guard-rail flipped over it between the 2 guardrails seperating the highway. ended up stopping a good 60ft facing the other direction. it def rolled once or twice though. ended up upright at the end. only injury was cuts from glass on his hands and a bad head-ache. he was wearing his seat-belt. this is one of the reasons why i dont race around blind corners in city area's. the only spirited driving i do is in new hope at 2 a.m. on a saturday night lol. NOBODY AROUND
Bingo! That and even if you are parked along the blvd in a parking lot you get ticketed. Tristatetun ers.com talks about it all the time!

Got ya, thanks on the clarification of colors and years. I had dark colored cars for years and finally bought my first red. Can't complain since the car hasn't been washed in 2 weeks .. 
I'd love to drive it when we're both free! Plus AWD>RWD from a dig at least ... I'd keep rocking the SS if it were me. They're just sexy as sin.
PS - there's a local car meet in Aston that me and some of my buddies go to. I don't know where you're from specifically, but it'd be great to see a new face around there since many are foreign makes. There's a nasty Typhoon that comes up. The meet is Wednesday nights around 845pm on 452 in Aston - same shopping center as the Planet Fitness.
