I'm SOOOO stoked about getting back out on the courses this year.
Thanks Brian...

Haha, I could see going through tech inspection wearing all that.

I'm excited about running this year also. I think I really have a feel for the car now after driving it for a year. Plus, we have it tuned now... so I won't have to worry about the damn traction control kicking in. I just need some good summer tires and I'll be ready for the courses.

It has to be early, early evening for me. Stupid work. Unless it's Friday night, then I can make it basically whenever.

Striker... I can say with almost 100% certainty I'm not going to be out that way in the evenings due to work. Sorry.
That will not be the scariest tech experience to date, close but not quite. I have just three words - RED RACING THONG. And I will tell you now it was NOT being worn by a person of the female persuasion......*shudder*

Awesome! Are you running strictly at North Park or are you venturing out into the sandbox known as BeaveRun? Either way, I'm sure I'll see ya at a few events.

Dan and I were talking briefly about that last night....

I think he wants to try both places. We'll see which her prefers.

Red thong.... ewwwwwwwwwwww

Dan... one thing to think about is getting some magnetic #'s and letters. @ NP it might not be a big deal, but @ BR, I know for a fact that they are going to be wanting to keep everyone away from using shoepolish. It's hard to read in the trailer on most cars, and it runs in the rain, and also hard to read out on course if you hit a cone, etc...

Tape works, as long as it's dry outside. Also, you can think about taping a pc of paper with bold #'s and letters on the inside windows. This was brough up at a meeting of the solo board over the winter.

If you want to have something more permanent, Justin can make up a # plate like mine for about $40, but doubt you'd have them for the 1st NP event. BR event should be no problem.

How much does he want for that? You can PM me if it's easier.

A little of both. I'd like to consistently run at one... which may have to be the BR events. I might have to miss the first NP event because of a motorcycle safety course I'm signed up for.

I'd definitely think about having Justin make me some number magnets. Hmm... wanna do the talking or should I?

PS. I'm leaving home now. I won't be on the forums much till later. I'm gonna go check out celicacobalt's tuning/dyno session. I have my cell if any of you care to join or meet me anywhere. I'll be wandering around Pittsburgh somewhere until noon when I head up there.

That's yet another thing that ALWAYS pissed me off at BR. The one guy ALMOST put tape on my car himself and I told him he touched it I'd rip his fingers off and feed them to him. Central has pre-made number cards that you can put in the car.

That's cool. I don't know how many events I'm going to run around here. After doing the runway days in State College, I REALLY want to go out there more. Plus I think that's going to be the region I register through for SCCA.

Dan,
If you want, I'll post his site, and you can contact him. Just let him know I sent you.

http://www.spryracing.com/

Wait until you see what Justin has done for this year's season. His car looks AWESOME.

If you have a # in mind, let me know... I can take a look @ STS's car #'s and let you know if it's available.

Well, they commented about people with Lotus' and such and that even those people shouldn't mind that much since they've got enough wax on them that it won't hurt the paint. I agree though... they should say "come back when you get #'s taped on, and I'll put the tech sticker on."

The 2.4 turbo is strong... but needs to work out some hiccups in the tuning. Need to talk to Al and Dan to get their opinions.

Basically, car runs pretty good, except when you stomp and go WOT it spikes lean. It comes back down after that and is fine... but that initial spike is pretty bad.

The 2.8 will lean ya up.

BTW Dan, on your CEL site, techincally I am no longer the fastest on street tires (unless it was a redline that jumped in front of me). #2, but that should change this season
