And likewise with 88. Its not exactly 88, its the access road that connects at the bottom of the hill from South Hills Village. And then the road South Hills Village is on. People always fly up and down that hill in order to beat the redlight at the 4-way and there have been some bad accidents there in recent years. I never understood why there were never any cops around there except for at night.

This just in - street racing has been canceled for the remainder of spring and summer. Come again next year

Yeah, there are enough "bad spots" locally that we could have cops there all year round and there's still going to be morons doing darwinian things.

The guys that cant keep it on the track will just have to be more creative as far as location and timing.

We had "guerillia tactics" after the broke up VW drive back in the 90's. We set up, ran and went back to "home base" afterwardds.. no more than 1 run at a time within 30 minutes.

Oh, and they used scouts back then too....lol

Ummm.... I'm pretty easy going about that. If I was going by myself ( as I normally do... ) I go around 7-7:30, but if you want to meet earlier that's cooll too. I won't get back in the area until after 5 today, but after that... I'm good to go.

Let me know. You still go my #? if not.. PM me.

I'm 26, but won't be able to buy a house for quite a while until I get my credit in line.

I can get from Century III mall to my house in Irwin in 30 minutes....

I've not travelled 51 in a long time though, so I don't know what the area's like anymore.

That one stretch on RT130 is right by my house. I noticed they repainted all the trap lines in Penn Twp. They're all bright white now.

As for this summer, that list says nothing about RT30 by Pep Boys or 119 in Mt. Pleasant... lol. I guess we'll have to actually buy those 2-way radios and scout out the areas now.

Actually, I don't think we do a whole lot of racing anymore. We mainly just sit around and BS. No one really wants to race us in Monroeville except for a few cars. I haven't seen anything really going on out in Gbg. But then again, it's still early. I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot more racing on the track this summer.

well I think i narrowed my cam choices

238/240 .605/.609 112LSA
or
232/234 .595/.598 112LSA

I'm leaning more toward 2, just because 1 is just kinda nutty

Lookin at dual springs good for about .600-.615 lift and 7.400 chromoloy rods

I'm 99.9% sure that stretch of 119 is in Fayette County, not Westmoreland. 40, 51, and 119 are all on there in different sections. That portion usually is because they have a LOT of fatal accidents around there. Anywhere from the Williamhouse plant to just past Sheetz/Davies Ford is usually a popular spot when they have "target" dates.

The old strip mall is in Mt. Pleasant. That is still Westmoreland county. I dont think the Westmoreland/Fayette County line is until further down the road. Plus, cops cant really sit there since there isnt a place to sit. Except for at the redlight.

I have no clue as to where the line is. Their favorite place to sit is that little side road that cuts off just past the strip mall if you're going toward C'ville, there's like a couple houses and a farm back in there. It's a GOOOOOD spot too because you can't see the f'ckers till you're right on them, they used to have a spot to cut across and get people going either direction.

I like the second choice better.

As far as the Moon locations, they are usually hitting those areas pretty hard during weekends anyway.

Ya should. If Wes goes, I'll probably be there. Although I want to get some housework done. So I dunno. I'll probably go just to get out of the house for a while.

Yeah... Wes, at this rate... it'll be 7.50 a gallon

Hope some peeps come down tomorrow night. Make sure you register for the cruise as well. $3 for the year and it keeps the cruise alive.

BTW, someone else was trying to nab that Meth kit, so I just went ahead and bought it. Yay for me. Hopefully no more Irwin trips. Now I still don't know whether the kit is MAP or MAF...
