Welp... no more beater car for a while. I was driving back from Cal after cleaning the rest of the old place and I was on a back road between Cal and Belle Vernon. I was going down a hill that curves to the right and BAM-CRUNCH. The hood flew up and smashed the windshield. Talk about scary ****. lol Not being able to see going down a hill that wasn't straight. I didn't hit anything though. So... I am sure that "almost" heart attack took a few years off my life. lol.

Anyway, just a bit ago, Shaun and I took the balt in town Mt. Pleasant to grab a bite and got rev'd at by a huge truck and about 6 cars. It was a good laugh cuz my car sounded just as loud as diesel truck that rev'd at us.

i now have enough to do my LS7 swap into my 04 gto in the game, or i can save up an extra 4 grand and do the C5R swap, which will put me at over 630hp and in the A class.... or i can do the LS7 and be a really high B car... hummmmmmmm

LOL you could have been doing that with us ya know, you can earn credits in online multiplayer. Hell if you do enough laps we saw up to 80k in credits.

Let me in on that action tonight. I was too busy chatting to Dave while playing single player career. I need credits. I only have my fully loaded, LNF-swapped Cobalt SS and then all the cars I've won up until this point. I need to buy something new, preferrably a mid-engine.

 

I may or may not be online tonight, don't know yet. Might be doing b-dub's but not sure on that yet. They're on my **** list after yesterday. They fucked up my food not once but twice.

Yeah I won't be up too late tonight. I stayed up pretty late playing it last night. I get up at 5:30 in the morning now to make it to work for 7am... so my days of late weeknights are over.

I have the fully upgraded LNF Cobalt in the game right now. I don't have any body kit stuff done to it (ie. spoiler for which you can change downforce options), so I guess there are a few things I could still do to it. It's not a bad car... but the RWD makes it a lot harder to control through the bends. It still feels heavy through the corners. However, I was passing Big Dan in his Sparco Evo last night on the circle track... that is until he put me into the wall.

 

i dont know if i want to spend the $43,000 on the engine, or save up another 7k, and level up to 13 and buy the vauxhall monaro, because it has the 05 hood and 06 tails

For stock, it handles almost dead on for what the car does on a real race track. All you have to do for RWD is adjust how you brake/accelerate through corners.

That was basically ALL our games were last night. We'd be driving and someone would just come out of nowhere and obliterate someone else. We were running NYC the first race, I thought I had a longer front stretch, didn't brake in time and went right into a wall then either Matt or Jason t-boned me into the wall. My car wouldn't go above 3mph. Then on another one I think it was Matt that was running a Solstice, Jason wrecked him or he went into a wall or something, but he finally gets the car up and moving again, I was coming up behind him, saw him and just went straight into the side of him. It was great, I was laughing so hard all night.
