the street is never a good place to gauge how your car hangs, who has a faster car. thats what the tracks are for, but there are good highways up this way that are fun to run on

nah, was at my rents most of the day. Sitting on the porch on Mt. Washington, having a drink, working on the first draft of my newest novel.

Finally got a working laptop. It's cool to chill outside and have wireless.

Went to sleep @ 2am last night, up at 6 this morning. Took the gf to the airport. She's off to spain for 6 weeks...

Ah well, got plently of time to get this book done.

BTW - anyone here read fiction? My last novel is in its editing phase. Trying to get it sold. If anyone wants to give it a read and offer feedback, I can print out a copy.

Turnpike to Irwin exit, stay to the left and get on 30 towards Irwin. Go to the 2nd light and make a left and you'll be headed into the parking lot, there'll be a Taco Hell on your right and an Advance Auto on your left, the lot across from Advance is where everyone meets up.

 

Car's all shiny. I guess I'll leave around 3ish?

Hey everyone....

FIrst of... I'd like to thank EVEYONE for coming out tonight. I had a blast, and almost felt like an ambassador for the group.

So... Steve, Steve, Mike, Alicia, Wes, Dan, Bill, Stefanie, Luigi....Thanks for coming out and making a great show for the cobalts. I have some good pics that I'll share on Monday.

Thanks to the GTO gang; Dan, Jay, Jarod, Joe & Misty, Orange GTO ( Ryan?? ) and the family in the red one ( bad with names... sorry ) for all you guys coming out and showing the cars.
I know you had another goat that showed later ( black wheels ) as well.

Glad Rad decided to park with us and his bad Z06... He's a super guy and he had nothing but good things to say about you all.

Glad that Bobbie got her Ion RL out there and if she doesn't sell it, chances are, I'll be bringing it to some cruises to get it some exposure

We had alot of positive feedback from people amazed about how many we had together.

Thanks for letting us join in on the fun! Sorry I didn't get to talk to many of you guys/gals, but I was kinda running around looking at all the other cars and/or answering questions for other people...plus I still have this nasty sinus/allergy/cold junk going on and really didn't want to get any of you sick, so I tried to stay away. lol.

There was one more goat-spotting at the end after all the cobalts left. Right as was I leaving, I thought I was hallucinating when a impulse blue metallic goat with the silver sport grilles drove past me. It was dark, but I'm fairly certain it had the blue interior and black wheels with polished lips too! I have a clone...aaaaahhhh!

Now I gotta get this sweet new magnaflow x-pipe welded up that I bought off of ryan? (dude in brazen orange metallic goat) tonight...I should probably order the 'magnapacks' now too...yay for soon-to-be-loud blue beast

Edit: It was a nice surprise to see Jeff come out with the shiny red z/28 that repeatedly puts me into 2nd place at auto-x

Just ordered the new checkvalve, at this rate I am filling the bottle up twice a day Plus I am flooding the intake.

Hopefully this is my problem and not the fuel injectors.

 

Same here! I had a great time tonight. It was good to get out and see everyone again! It seemed like we got quite a bit of notice at the show tonight, thanks to Stef (PinkStripedCobalt) for initiating our hostile take-over of the Irwin show!!

 

yah i had lots of fun to, on the way from the car show to monroeville i had some ******* in this jetta(turbo??) and an exhaust from what i could tell, not much though, hi beams me from behind so i slowed down and we did a roll from about 60, needless to say i put him in the dust, but thats not saying much, also why did everyone leave miracle mile so early?

I really don't see how injectors would cause it to guzzle the meth Wes...try the check valve - it's probably the problem. Looked like a good setup though. Don't forget to get yourself some HEET.

I'm all for leaving the double-***** IN your car next time though!!

Yeah it was a good showing at Irwin. And Luigi... we didn't leave Miracle Mile... we went down to Mad Mex for a bit then back out to hang out in the parking lot for a bit.

 

I wouldn't say I liked it - it was just kinda boring playing with something smaller than I'm used to
