Pittsburgh Crew < You
R/T matters, it doesnt affect E/T but it makes you a more consistant racer.
post the slip, or the specs on it, ill tell you if it was 13s or not with what 60' etc
I was racing a cammed dart that looked pretty mean but was the guys first time driving it or something, he ran a 14.4x and I ran a 14.5x he trapped at 91 and I trapped at 103 or something lol. But my last run I ended up running a 14.3, I still had some clutch slip in second and had to back out, then had a slow shift to third for some reason. But the clutch didnt do to bad. Atleast people didnt walk by and sniff and grimace like they did after my second run lol. I still say that second run would have been in the 13's if not for the three seconds of not moving due to the clutch lol
How come we all ran so shitty last night?

no no... It's all good... I just meant that I'm done on that particular topic.
I wasn't saying "f-it.. what evar..." ( in my valley-dude voice )
duuuuude
Next year, If I decide to do a few Pro-Solo events, you'll see me back out at the dragstrip. They start those autocrosses with a x-mas tree start, and your RT and 60' times are factored in.
PLUS... it will give me a chance to see what the new ride will do...

I think I had a 2.4 60, cant remember though, ran a 14.5 on the run with a trap 0f 103.x, but on my 1-2 shift I had about three seconds of clutch slip where I didnt really gain any speed, maybe a mile an hour or so before I let off and got back in it again.
You're MPH will also drop a bit, but not much the weather and DA play a bigger role
These times are assuming you dont mess anything up and have good shifting
2.3 60'
14.305
2.2 60'
14.11
2.1 60'
13.915
2.0 60'
13.72
quaker is a very consistant track, but is usually .1 to .2 slower than prp

Thats true, I ran him before he had his meth "the first time his car shot flames" and you would have been suprised how close it was, so was he. He makes more no question, just not a whole lot who knows the difference now though, that was when he fist got his pistons in .
I mean I am new to this whole drag racing thing so I dont really know to much, but I ran 2 14.1x last time one with a 2.4 60ft and one with a 2.3 60ft. And my first run against a z28 I had a 2.5 60ft and ran a 14.2 I have the slips in my car, il post them up.

I think later in the year my buddy is taking his Camaro out there.... maybe.

Thats the vid of me and the z28, I know elevation wasent the difference lol, but if I remember it was real hot that day as well.
I dont think you can see much from the vid other than it was a shitty 60ft
I think the reason I dont go is because I wouldnt know anyone there. And im not in ohio very often when they have test and tune

It's calculated by atmosphereic pressure and temperature, by dry air is always assumed
DA=145426[1-(P0/Psl / T/Tsl)b]
DA is always calculated in feet
P0 = is the atmosphereic statis pressure
Psl = standard sea level atmospheric pressure (101.325 kPa)
T = true static air temp in Kelvins which is just adding 273.15 to your Celsius temp figure
Tsl = standard sea level air temperature (which is 288.1 Kelvins)
b = 0.235
Or did you want the simple non engineer like answer which is
How Altitude, Humidty, and Temperature can affect each and every one of your runs
There is a simpler formula, but you have to figure how to find your absolute pressure, which is derived by current temperature, and using ISA figures.

Theres the schedule for quaker, it would be sweet if we could all go to the steel valley nationals
