I am so freakin tired this morning. I just want to take a nap. 4pm can't come soon enough.

In other, good news (for me at least), major funds coming soon. I'm thinking wheels/tires and body kit. Maybe a torque converter if I can find a good place to get one.

So.... did you ever buy those rims off of Dave that you wanted to use for r-comps??

Are you talking about buying wheels for summer? then use the OEMs for winter?

Ed is taking the SRT to Norwalk Friday ( if I already metioned that, please excuse me ) to see what he can do.

He ordered a pair of tracklites and some drag slicks for it, and should be in in time for that.

Yeah I'm going to buy 18" Enkeis for summer tires and use the 17" OEMs for winter. I'm buying Dave's old 17" OEMs for fun tires.

Did that say what happened to it? Kinda sucks if you can't even do a few doughnuts without breaking power steering

well in theory if the wheel is turned tight locked in to the left, that stresses the system... in theory

Jay, not sure if you know this already, but the '05 gto's did in fact have an issue with the power steering pump burning up if it was locked full left or full right for a certain length of time (can't remember)...Rhys Millen discovered this in his drift car This problem was fixed with the redesigned steering rack for 2006 though.

When we were under my car at the shop a few days ago, there was a little bit of oil around the power steering pump, but Pete from Pedders and Aaron both said that the amount showing on my car is completely normal and the dealer won't fix it unless it's really bad.

Hope yours gets fixed though
