Dunlop WinterSportM3s and the wheels (G6) look badass on the car, there's pics of them a page or so back when I put all my mods on. I think I payed about $700 shipped for everything.

There's actually a cheap set on there now, but local pickup only and they're in Orlando.

Sooooo...

Fitting HIDs in projectors is easier said than done. But 3 hours later... and here I am:

Yes, I know.... they very badly need to be aimed. I didn't have the patience (or warmth) to do that tonight. That's tomorrow night's project. They are bright though.... and once aimed, they should be kick ass. They have a kinda purple look to them when you look AT them. But when you look at the road that they light up, it looks like it should (bluish... 8000k).

Steve and Rick, any advice on aiming them? Like I said, that's tomorrow night's project.

I think I'll be getting myself a HID kit now too. Hey I'll give you a few hand warmers if you install and aim mine when I get them. lol. If your lucky I'll bring you some hot chocolate.

I have no tips for adjusting them. Mine are still pointing at the ground and that's where they'll point until its warm out.

Ah if only they'd produce enough heat you could use them to melt the snow in front of your car - now THAT would be an interesting snow plowing technique...

No you're not. I actually went to bed and got back up. Too much on my mind this week. Hopefully by the weekend I can clear my head out a lil bit and actually get a decent night's sleep.

My advice to you Dan is start getting warm a bit earlier with a nice 5th of JIM, or your favorite alcoholic beverage, grab a 10 mm with a 3 inch extension and give em hell. I couldnt tell you what bolt moves it how. cause u turn one and it goes up/left u turn another it goes down/right. I got em close and then go to wasted to care enough to continue, still gotta get em perfect. Kinda sucks we are suppose to get like 1-3 inches of snow on thursday. that means cobalt is parked until the salt is gone and im stuck with the nutless skittle

Sweet... I'll try that tonight. By the way, did you guys have trouble lining up the outside bolt on the top braces of the actual headlight? I could not get it lined up over the hole for the life of me.

As some of you already know, I play football every Saturday with my fellow UPS supervisors. Just found out today that Hempfield is gonna give me the keys to the gates around the field so we can use an actual nice field. So anybody that would like to play football on any saturday just give me a call and i'll let you know what time. If you don't have my number, let me know and I'll PM it to you. If you aren't athletic don't worry about it, a lot of uncoordinated people play.......lol, everyone is welcome to play

-Dave

I told you lining the holes up to get the bolts in is a bitch. If I would have just stood back and thought about it(instead of cursing), I could have drilled bigger holes on the projectors.
