My SRT-4 buddy is considering selling it to get an SRT8 Cherokee as well... says it's more "sensible".

It's either that, or wait for the SRT6 Caravan...

US GT-R pricing released:

http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/14/l...ain-at-69-850/

69,850...z06 competitor indeed...with lots more creature comforts and toys too boot...Hopefully the vspec will loose a bit of weight.

I havent seen a bad angle yet..imo

Sti official debut is tomorrow...drooool...already saw the pre order list...5 spokes standard...no red and gold tho

imo new sti is gonna womp on the evo...i have a feeling the evo X is to evo 9 as 3rd gen eclipse was to 2nd gen eclipse aka fatter, slower, uglier...tho it is an evolution and by its name it SHOULD be better...well see

After the reviews i read, it basically sums up like this - both of the new cars are going to be slower than their predecessor in the 1/4 mile, but are going to be faster in the turns, braking, slalom ect... Both of their weights are up, especially the new evo. Its a fat pig @ 3600lbs (thats the canadian curb weight as the us spec one hasnt been finalized yet). I agree, the STI will way outperform the new X. Everyone on evom.net pretty much hates the new X and feels that mitsu has abandonded everything that the previous 9 generations worked so hard to accomplish. When they come out i am definately gonna fake wanting to sell my car at a dealer just so i can drive the new one. Same thing with the STI. Ill fake it, flog it then say its not for me and leave

i was asking 150 shipped but since you live in burgh then i'll let them go for say...115$
these are stage 2 bulbs that burn at 6000 degrees kalvin(sp?) these emit a slight blue tint where as the 4300k bulbs put out a bright white light as in the stock bmw lights. the higher that degree of kalvin number gets the more blue you will see until it gets to the point it turns purple.

i'll upload some pix for you to see. one pic i have is with one hid unit installed and one stock bulb installed so you really can see the difference.

Here you go bro.
HID(left) vs Stock(right)

the stock lights that come in the BMW's are a bright white color that burn around the 4300k mark...the ones i am selling are the 6000k and will put out the blue hue that i think you're looking for. the pure blue ones that you speak of are for the fog lights? do you have stock headlights or projectors? i live in brentwood, south hills area.

Still pretty impressive for a car that more resembles a street car and not an exotic as the Carrara GT is.
