Thats about the same price as the Vibrant if you count everything then.

BTW, is the stock exhaust manifold a 2.5" or 3" exit? I would assume its a 2.5" but if not, the TAG exhaust is suppose to be nice too.

Speaking of piston swaps, are you guys that are going Twin charged going with the diamond or mahle? Or are you not doing piston work till it blows? I would think that would be the weakest link after 300 hp. I think i read that our heads are good till 4-500hp range? Correct me if im wrong.

Me and Al are going with the Mahle 8.5 pistons. I also want head gasket and studs.

Im just gonna use teh stock components...i believe theyll take 400hp personally. Wes why such a low comp ratio...itd run stock compression ratio...or u just using those mahles cause they are cheap?

And maybe balance shaft delete if I can figure it out. I really dont want neutrals, just gone completely.

8.5 to 1 equals more timing at higher boost levels. I want that Holset singing.

Why completely delete them. Neutrals serve the desired purpose, getting rid of the ~10hp loss that's required to spin em. How would you go about all-out deleting them without replacing them with SOMETHING????

Neutrals free up horsepower, delete eliminates the problem of spinning an engine component twice as fast as engine rpm, which becomes an important factor when raising engine redline.

LUIGI!!! I was wondering what happened to ya...

Good to see you're still kicking.

All you guys that hang in Robinson... if by chance a kid in a 2002 Eclipse pulls in and talks to you... he's not a wierdo... he's my cousin. I told him to keep an eye out for some fast Cobalts in the area. They live in Crafton.

Wow... this has gotten some deep conversation.

Nissan Sentra Spec Vs have a balance shaft delete kit from Wolf Technology. Good for 10 WHP after they entirely remove the balance shafts. Very little sacrifice in NVH afterwards. I really didn't get why we would replace the shafts with sometihing else. Just lose 'em and free up the entire reciprocating assembly the engine has to turn!

I will be the Pittsburgh Area from the 28th to the 1st. I bought these from www.visionbulbs.com a couple months ago for my SS. I have since sold it for a GTO and I have no use fro this set up. I paid $240.00... They were on sale for the Holidays for $200.00. I will part ways with them for $180.00 and I can meet you this weekend if anyone is interested.

Thanks
Matt

You know you're fucked when:

You take the car in for warranty work because the high beams don't work and now the car won't start, LOL.

Took it today for it's last chance at warranty (35k on the car), they said the BCM was bad, hence why the high beams no longer work (and probably why I keep getting the low coolant light). Replaced the BCM, tried to reprogram something so it'd work with the car, every warning light in the car came on and now it won't start. Yippee. Looks like I'm gettin a rental to get to NYE in State College.

I have no highbeam issues, but my low coolant light comes on every once and a while, as well as the ABS light.... go figure...

I'll be at a happy hour with coworkers after work today. I'm not sure about later... I may go out with Kate to the South Side. We'll see.

There was talk of going to Sing Sing tomorrow night for Al's b-day. I'd like more info on that.

The low coolant and ABS light can be fixed with a reflash.

As for the weekend, I'm leaving tomorrow for State College. Be back sometime Monday night then back to work on Tuesday...

Maybe one day I'll also have a comfy 9-5 job and not have to work a night shift again. I didn't hit the hay until late this morning.
