Racing tomorrow night?.. Anyone wanna race at PRP... It's a Test & Tune... Anyone wanna run the ole' quarter mile...? Anyone...
I'm torn over a couple things...
MRZ Performance strut bar or DC Sports (newer dual beam one)?
TWM vs. Hurst vs. B&M short throw? The TWM looks promising...
Hawk HPS pads noisy with drilled and slotted rotors? And do they really need extra time to warm up before braking good? Worth the money?
Those questions have been bugging me all day, lol...

As for the questions....
Can you post pics up of the STBs? That might help.
Shifter wise, I prefer the Hurst but they're all fairly similar, it comes down to personal preference.
Hawk HPS pads are not noisy. Not sure about with D/S rotors. As far as warming up, the time isn't significant but you will want to get some heat in them to get the full braking performance out of the pads, yes. Worth the money - pads, yes absolutely I love them. D&S rotors, no, unless you want them strictly as a visual mod.
i know i asked once already but one more time for those that may have missed it. i have a ttr tranny mount that i don't want. anyone wanna buy it? brand new never used. if not i'll post it up on a FS thread.
For those of you who know who Eric with the Silver Evo 9 is (also drives his cousins orange Corvette around) this thread is so worth the 4 page (at this point) read.....

There's no real story to tell yet since I don't know what caused it. I lost boost yesterday morning on the way to work. It wouldn't build any positive pressure. I thought it was just a loose coupler before the MAF sensor in the charge piping. When I got home and turned the car off, I heard the death rattle as it spooled down. Unfortunately, I know that sound. Sure enough, when I popped the hood and took off the intake piping, I saw what you see in the picture above.
I talked to ATP. They said there's no way surge caused that. I could've had surge out the ass and that turbo would've still lasted three years. They said it's gotta be one of the following:
-Foreign object entering the compressor
-Foreign object entering the turbine side
-Oil starvation
-Coolant starvation
I know it wasn't a foreign object. That's usually accompanied by damage to the face of the blades. There's nothing to indicate that on the compressor side. There's no way there was anything in the hot side. We had checked for oil and coolant flow. I know it was getting both. So I'm stumped.
It's gonna get ripped off the car and sent back to ATP for inspection. They said they'll take it apart and figure out what happened. As of right now, my options are a $900 rebuild or a $450 replacement plan option.

anyone happen to know a kid from the kittaning area that drives a black evo? i seen him and a kid in a mustang pull onto 422 and they were hot doggin it so i caught up to them and we had gotten to a point where all three of us were side by side. the mustang pulled out onto a loonng exit lane and we pulled from a 45mph roll. the evo jumped hard and was about 2car lenghts ahead of me before i started catchin up..i had a bad start, too low of an rpm range. the mustang held his own but i had him beat. afterward we all stopped to chat and the evo is turboed with NOS, didnt' get the kids name. the mustang isn't boosted just some bolt ons. my car is stock motor/sc with bolt ons. i knew i wouldn't have a chance vs the evo but it was still a good time. normally i woudn't have street raced but there wasn't another vehicle in sight. we only did it once for less than a mile. no harm no foul.

Dan Testa, did you ever get your oil cooler to finish the Redline?..
